The 25” cut model with the 4 amp hour battery is really ana amazing tool! I have just over .5 acre of grass with slopes, ditches, trees, etc. it handles it easily. I changed batteries once while cutting. Batteries charge quickyl (anout twenty minutes) and i have three of them so that helps immensely. I was amazed how well it went thru wet grass and I never even used the turbo button. Ill be selling my Honda gas mower and my John Deere zero turn as they’re simply not necessary and take up way too much room. SO HAPPY!!

I truly had little expectations coming from gas to electric, but it really changed my perspective. I had over grown damp grass and cut it down with ease. The self propelled motor almost took me with it, propbably does 0-60 in 4 seconds as well as a very quite operation. I would invest in another battery on top of the one included as a precautionary measure if you have a larger yard. So far very impressed with GreenWorks.

I’m very pleased with this mower after 4 uses. I have a moderately-sized urban yard and appreciate how easy it is to adjust the cutting height, and the assist feature helps me push this up steep inclines. I’m a strong woman, but this mower is fairly heavy and that assist really makes the difference. The battery life has been excellent so far and I’m able to cut the front and backyard in one go. The first use of the mower was on incredibly overgrown grass, and after 2 passes to mulch the clippings a second time, the yard looked great. The battery charges pretty quickly, under one hour. Very happy with this mower and its power.

So far I'm relatively pleased with this purchase. A side discharge would be more ideal, and it should come with more than one battery, but it gets the job done. I like the extra cutting width. Gets my .65 acre extremely hilly yard cut in approximately 2 1/2 battery charges. I purchased a second battery so I would always have at least one charged.

Hello JakeM. Thank you for sharing your experience! We are glad to hear that your 80V mower is getting the job done and that the wider cutting path is helping on your hilly yard. We appreciate your feedback about the side discharge option and additional batteries those are great points we will share with our team. Purchasing a second battery was a smart move to keep you mowing without long breaks. For reference, self-propelled mowers will use more battery power than push models, as the drive system pulls additional energy especially when climbing slopes or hills. This can shorten runtime by 20–30% compared to flat ground, which is normal performance. Cuts lawn well. I purchased a second battery. Now I'm able to finish the yard without the battery running out of power.

The Greenworks line of products are great if you go for the mid or higher range of products. The modular battery system that works across products is perfect, so now I can swap out batteries on the fly for everything and I’m able to mow with no issues my large front and back yards in one go.

Overall it’s a great mower. Having the choice of blade heights it’s helpful and it cuts perfectly. My only complaint is the battery life. Even at mid speed it doesn’t last long enough to do more than a quarter of an acre. I will definitely be purchasing a second battery. I would recommend this mower, but also encourage the second battery purchase.

Like turbo setting. Love high handle position. Easy to set cut height. 180degree turns are a little tough. Need to cut lawn frequently.

Great mower, I would have gave it 5 stars but the battery runs out to fast.

Hello hdhd. It is great to hear you are happy with the mower itself, but sorry the battery runtime is not meeting your expectations. Here are some tips to optimize your battery runtime.
Mowing Conditions: Thick Grass, mowing thick, tall, or damp grass will require more power and drain the battery faster. Speed, reduce walking speed when mowing thick grass to allow the mower to cut effectively and discharge clippings properly. Wet grass, avoid mowing wet grass, as it can cause clogs and increase the load on the motor, reducing runtime. Mowing Technique: Grass height, do not cut more than one-third of the grass length at a time for a healthy lawn.
Self-propelled feature, use the self-propelled feature only when needed, as it can drain the battery more quickly. Battery Care: Ensure you charge the battery fully before each use, maintain the battery properly by cleaning terminals, avoid extreme temperatures during storage, consider buying a second battery for larger lawns. As the lawn becomes consistently maintained you will see the cut and runtime improve. Hope these tips help.
