Q: how do the glasses feel when wearing a headset while gaming?
A: Simply amazing. So good you can play for hours and you dont feel your eyesight tired or anything.
Q: Is there any magnification?
A: As other's said correctly 'YES' but only slightly. Do GUNNAR Computer Glasses have extra focusing power? GUNNAR lens material has specifically tuned focusing power providing you with sharper, clearer vision. This patented lens technology aids natural focusing and reduces stress and strain on your eyes. Less eye strain reduces digital fatigue and issues associated with prolonged computer use. The GUNNAR non-Rx frames have a standard +0.2 diopter (magnification of +0.2/4 = 0.05+1 = 1.05x) that allows the eyes not to strain and stress when looking at close computer distances for extended periods of time.
Q: How much blue light (percentage) do these glasses block?
A: 65% on the amber lense, and 35 on the clear lense.
Q: Is there a replacement policy from Gunnar if the frame cracks or breaks?
A: I inquired today because there was a sale on Gunnar Optics for $34.99 not a bad price, but Best Buy no longer offers a replacement plan and the quality of the frames are not viable for your average gamer's normal wear and tear. They used to offer in the past and I am kicking my self for not getting for previous pair. I think I was cleaning them and they literally snapped in half above the bridge of the nose area. With some gorilla glue and injanuity I was able to fuse them back together. Now the part where the lens is held in has also cracked. I can not take a chance at investing $40 on another pair and watch go down the drain when not if they break. Not using yellow lenses is rough on the eyes, but no replacement is terrible for the wallet
Q: do these work as fit overs? I need something comfortable over my prescription glasses.
A: I would not put mine over my prescription glasses. You can speak to your doctor that supplies your RX to have an RX Blue Light blocker
