Simple to assemble and since the first charge, my child has wanted to go outside and drive the car every single day. So cute to watch. The remote control both assists my little driver who has not quite grasped everything yet. Also a great safety feature. When power is cut to the drive motors, it stops quick (almost instantly). A little rough but okay even when coming to a stop at max speed. The resistance on the motos is high. That said, the drive motor on the steering is the same. This motor is "power steering" for the parent with the remote control. Because the resistance is high when unpowered, it's hard for my child to steer but with time will come more muscles and it will be just fine. It was a GREAT savings to buy this one and has a lot of nice features like working doors and charge indicators, signals, lights, and music from the "radio". It has become my child's favorite toy.
