Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers finally gets the Deluxe 4K treatment in a beautiful package. This is the brand new 2021 4K edition and the overall packaging and design are fantastic! The menus are great and easy selections. The audio is fabulous at 7.1 Atmos, which is new. You also get the 5.1 and standard audio. All special features have been brought over from previous editions for this particular sequel. The insert for the movie is reversable, so we get the poster artwork for the movie that was released in October 1988. I highly recommend!

Some how after 17 years from release; this limited edition tin is still available and I received #6,826 out of 40,000 made in perfect condition. Not sure if anyone has a higher number because I was surprised of how low my number is. H5 had a similar release of a tin edition with only 15,000 made (rare and highly priced on eBay) Very happy to find and add this to my Halloween collection. Best version to buy for the price.

Thanks to Danielle Harris' performance and a back to basics take on the material we get a fun return to form for Micheal Myers. If you weren't a fan of Halloween II's gore or Halloween III's departure from the Myers lore this will be refreshing. In the grand scheme of the Halloween series Part 4 is one of the better sequels. As usual Scream Factory comes through giving diehard horror fans the best physical release. The picture looks solid for a film shot mostly at night. And the special features are great. Although they didn't port over one of the commentary tracks from the old DVD release.

Worthy sequel in the franchise, very good atmosphere

After Part 3, A Solid Return Of The Michael Character. A Classic.

This is one of my favorite Halloween movies, and and it's original, introduces new characters, including Jamie Lloyd, one of my favorite protagonists portrayed by Danielle Harris in her first movie. Dr. Sam Loomis returns once again portrayed by Donald Pleasence, who only has a scar on his face from being in the explosion in Halloween II. Michael is back, and he is cool, but the mask is terrible. In my opinion, it is the 2nd worst mask in the series, only in front of the CGI mask from Halloween H20: 20 Years Later. I have always loved this movie and I will still watch it and enjoy it. It ranks at the Number 4 spot on my Halloween ranking, Behind Rob Zombie's Halloween II, Rob Zombie's Halloween. and the original, Aside from Michael's mask, there isn't anything I can complain about. the kills are cool, there is more gore, a good story, great characters, and a good ending.

Halloween 4 is a decent sequel in the franchise, certainly way better than Halloween 5

After sitting out the Halloween 3 sequel Michael Myers is back! This is one of my favorite sequels. It has a great storyline and the writers figured out a good way to move on from Laurie Strode (since Jamie Lee Curtis had moved on from horror at this point-She wll be back in H20). Danielle Harris is terrific! The only thing is it is lacking binus content-There is a Halloween 4/5 panel from Halloween's 25th anniversary and the trailer. I had seen both before. I was happy with my purchase.

Michael Myers returns in glorious 4k version..wow finally we get a very good looking version of the 4th installment If you are a Halloween fan and youre on a fence about getting this dont wait go and grab it..you will not be disapointed

This movie represents a lot of wasted potential, ruined by part 5. Also Mike looks like a small man wearing a dollar store Halloween mask. The movie looks incredible, never imagined it ever looking so perfect!

The "Halloween" film franchise is and continues to be the best horror franchise in existence and this installment personifies this to the great degree. Scary and atmospheric "Halloween IV..." was a sensational return to form after the third "Haloween" installment that deviated from original Michael Myers lore.

Shout Factory did an amazing job on these Halloween transfers. They are incredibly faithful to the original print elements, super sharp 4K quality with excellent HDR. Tons of special features.

a big halloween fan when i heard of the new transfer for the 4k was also being done for the blu ray that comes with them i ordered them and i was not dissapointed with audio and video transfer.

Another great Audio/Video transfer and excellent case Artwork and quality. If your a fan/collector better grab this one before its gone!

Overall great restoration for this Halloween slasher. The film has its shortcomings, but the technical merits of this release are top shelf.

Classic movie, personally my intro to halloween and Michael Myers as a kid.. great addition to any collection especially horror collections. And the tranfer to 4k is great!

Most people don’t really like this movie but I really love his return to the franchise. It’s a back to basics movie but it’s great and it doesn’t ask for too much

Best halloween movie in my opinion... along with Halloween 5. Probably because I watched them both all of the time growing up on AMC during the Halloween season.

This film is filled with atmosphere and dread like the original and this 4K remaster is a must buy if you love anything Halloween.
