I really don’t get the negative reviews and I’ve been playing Halo since 2001. Yes, the game has some bugs and can be polished more but other than that, the new graphics are just a flabbergasting delight. The game runs beautifully on my PS5 Pro. I really REALLY hope they remake Halo 2 and 3.

Halo campaign evolved has to be one best halo remake games I have ever played. I get why people give negative reviews because of the bugs, no multiplayer and not getting pre orders because of other stores didn’t give to them, I get it and that is messed up! They mostly blame the stores but not the game. But I got to say this Halo remake is so awesome! The graphics are amazing and remaking story is the best, especially how they re-introduced the flood was crazy! There is 2 player online or offline co-op or 4 player multiplayer you can play the campaign together. but for 4 players requires subscription. So far no bugs yet when playing, but if there is you can report it in the game. Usually games now are 70 dollars but this one is 50 dollars so I say it’s worth it. I really hope they make Halo 2 and 3 Remake we need those remakes!

As a PlayStation player I’ve always wanted to play a Halo game. I was astonished and blown away at how they had brought the world of MasterChief to life with so many modifiers and an amazing campaign a must buy.

Just the campaign... the online multiplayer was the best thing for the original!

Graphics are really good, but seems to have delayed input, like sometimes it doesnt respond to your controller inputs. Also the game is short at 10 hours long and has very little replayability. Definitely a 1 n done for me. I would recommend when its on sale.

The game is still great 25 years later, with more weapons in the sandbox, and a Legendary difficulty that feels approachable, it's still great. Those who only played on Sony consoles should definitely give this classic a try.

Very nice visual update with the inclusion of 3 extra missions for this campaign-only remake. Couch co-op is a tricky endeavor but after a few minutes my son and I were able to play together-its funny online coop was easier to get going (he and I both have MS accounts-a requirement to play the game)

Halo is of course a legendary game, so a direct remake with modern graphics and extra content is just a win win, and looks amazing on my 77"LG C3 OLED TV. The only reason its not a full five stars is because of the absence of online multiplayer. The game is perfect otherwise.

The game is a beautiful remaster of the original, delivering high doses of nostalgia throughout every mission. 'Campaign Evolved' is fitting with all the awesome gameplay improvements — from sprinting, to cosmetics, to new weapon and enemy types. It's a perfect entry point for newcomers to the franchise, or a great nostalgia trip for those returning. I can't recommend this game enough.

As someone who followed the original’s development cycle on the Mac and its acquisition as a flagship title for Xbox, I bought this for the sheer novelty of having a physical copy (actually installed from disc, then downloaded a day one update) on the primary competing platform, PlayStation. Thanks to Unreal Engine 5, it’s a significant aesthetic upgrade, but I was disappointed that multiplayer was reduced to a cumbersome kind of cross-platform/cross-account coop, not Gamertag and Gamertag(1). The onboarding process immediately had me questioning my purchase and unwrapping of the product. I felt I should have returned it to buy it a $20 on sale or $10 in a bin with other ill-conceived MS offerings. I played briefly but have yet to pick it up again. Personally, I should have waited or bought it on Steam. I’d recommend waiting on a sale, perhaps buying just before Sony stops printing physical media. I hope MS eventually adds multiplayer, but imagine they’ll add dangle that carrot with Halo 2 Remastered. I can only recommend this for people who haven’t played the original and, even then, I’d wait for a sale or buy it on Steam. Again, I bought this for its novelty on the competing platform, but could have easily waited.

Classic halo game with updated graphics pretty fun online crossplay campaign

Spent 30 minutes trying to set up co-op and still couldn’t get it working. Just a wonderful system freeze every time we tried to add that second player. Finally gave up and just did single player until the next day when we finally got it working. The required internet connection to play a single player campaign was a really poor decision as well. The single player is fine and once you get co-op working, it’s also just fine. With so many great games available though, it’s pretty hard to want to spend my time on something that’s only fine and then irritating as can be to get set up

Not bad just kinda meh. It’s strictly campaign and no multiplayer so that hurts the replay value tremendously. Played through once and was done with it. It’s fun but not worth $50. Wait for sale

Its a great way to play the gamw if you are like me amd didnt have an xbox back in the 2000s. It definitely eould have benefited from a competitive multiplayer, but thete is local and online co-op

Very pleased that this was brought not only to PS5, but also as a physical copy. I do not have an Xbox but Halo is such a nostalgia trip and the updated graphics and skins made it worth the pre-order. I also love that split screen is still an option so others can join in the fun - new players or veterans alike. I jumped straight into legendary difficulty and it still does not mess around. Very happy to relive this experience with updated graphics.

Game is great, spent a weekend beating it. The only thing missing would be multi-player, other than that it's a fun time.

One of the best fps games ever made modernized. Only downfall is it should of been included with competitive multiplayer
