Hamilton Beach - 1-1/2-Quart Ice Cream Maker - White

I was looking for an inexpensive ice cream machine and found this one. I received it a week ago and have already used it three times. I was assuming that it would turn off by it self after churning was done. But that is not the case. When I use it I put a 40 minutes timer and then turn it off. The only con so far is that it's a little loud while churning, and you can only add 4 cups of your ingredients so it doesn't over flow. As long as you follow directions your ice cream will churn to a slushy consistency, and of course you have to freeze it for a few hours to set properly. All in all this machine is a little work horse worth having. I am very satisfied with the end results. I finally made my tropical Tamarindo ice cream I was craving, thanks to this little machine!

With the serious lack of tart frozen yogurt around here, i decided to make my own and got this little ice cream maker. This has been one of the best blind purchases i've ever made. Its easy to use and produces great frozen yogurt in 20 minutes. Highly recommended!!

For quite a reasonable price it was a really fun and great device to utilize. Easy and simple to set up, very much enjoy this ice cream maker!

I have used it twice since my purchase and it works well. Fast and great. It takes me back to my childhood when my grandfather would hand crank his ice cream maker.

Great ice cream machine. Only downside is it doesn't regulate temperature like the expensive ones, instead this one's bowl has to be frozen for eight hours minimum before churning can begin. Makes great ice cream when done right, took us a few tries to achieve silky smooth ice cream. Just don't add too much or it won't churn, churns up to four cups of a custard or mixture at most. Would be great if pieces were dishwasher safe, but over all this ice cream maker is great for kids and beginners. Would recommend.
