Hamilton beach Electric kettle is amazing 1. Save time by quickly warming water 2. Convinent to use and clean

Thought traditional stove top was the only true way to heat water. Our ancestors used fire made me think I had to use fire. I’m happy to join the 21st century with with electrified countertop no fire or gas, water warming tea kettle. I also use it for ramen :)

It boils fast, but leaks water into base and into the on/off switch. And, it appears as though the auto-shutoff feature is not working. Need to return, appears to be a safety hazard.

It does exactly what it is supposed to do. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because the lid sticks slightly so simply pressing the button on top does not work, you also have to pull the lid up. This may only be the case for the one I bought and is only a small annoyance - perhaps not worth losing a whole star. In all the kettle is working well for now.

Works great we use this to make tea and jist boil water more efficiently

Got tired of pods, lack of flavor and strength - wanted to back to pour-over filter. Was worried with some reviews, stating there was a bad taste. However, ran full water/heat 5 times through, no problems at all. Great all around, and quick!

Heats the water quickly, but it has a really strong chemical smell that I can't get rid of, even after multiple washings. It makes the water taste, so that can't be good for you. Because of that, I don't like using it.

Volume is ok but it smells of plastic for a long time. It's been almost a month already but smell is still here

the appearance is good, but my kettle had a problem, water was leaking from the top cover, which is not normal.

Works really well but the lid on mine doesn’t open with the button have to manually open it.

Heats up really fast. The top doesn’t open 90 degrees to the container, so it’s a little weird adding the water from the fridge. Works well, needs to be cleaned often.

I returned this. Was working nice, looks good, but when you boil the water, smells... I didn't like it...

I love this ! The water boils and my coffee is piping Hot!!

Works great! Just about everyone in our family has one.

The kettle leaked water onto the base after the very first boil. Rather dangerous since the base is where the electrical connectors are. Maybe I just received a bad one, but I would not try to buy it again.

We love this boiler. It looks good and takes up very little space. The retractable power cord avoids having another unattractive and dangerous cord cluttering up the kitchen counter. This article was worth every penny of its cost.
