It arrived damaged. It looked like it was damaged during production, but clearly wasn’t removed during final inspection. I returned it.

The cooker is great. I needed a large capacity slow cooker and this fits the need. My only complaint is that when cooking on high temp, steam condensation collects around the lid and it spits droplets of whatever you’re cooking all around the cook area. A simple solution is make a vent hole in the lid. My solution was to lay a dish towel across the cook pot then put the lid on top of the towel. When the towel got saturated, I wrung it out and replaced it. My solution results in a longer cook time due to heat loss when the lid is removed. Please consider my simple solution.

Absolutely love this. If I had known it existed I would have bought it a long time ago. Already made Chili in it. Can't wait til I make Soup.

Our old traditional crock pot cracked so we replaced it with this Hamilton Beach one. Love the bigger size (10 Qrt) and simple setting options.
