The EHX Battalion Bass Preamp and DI features a four-band equalizer, fully-featured MOSFET distortion section with three signal path options, a compressor, a noise gate, and comprehensive I/O, making it an all-in-one tone tank for bass guitar. Product Highlights: Four-band EQ tailored for bass with Bass (below 200Hz), Lo Mid (280Hz), Hi Mid (750Hz), and Treble (above 2kHz). Distortion section with Level, Blend, Drive, and Tone controls plus footswitch. Three signal flow modes—Pre EQ, Post EQ, and Dry EQ—for tonal flexibility. Compressor with pushbutton, amount control, and LED for added thump and sustain. Noise Gate with adjustable threshold to eliminate hum while preserving attack and tone.
