Melbourne-based producer, DJ and instrumentalist, Harvey Sutherland recorded his debut album 'BOY' between London, Los Angeles and Harvey's own Swimming Pool Studio with a string of special guests including the inimitable DaM-FunK, who features on lead single, 'Feeling of Love'. 'BOY' takes the base elements of funk and fires them through a prism of influences - the hyper-produced studio pop of Todd Rundgren, the luscious grooves of New York boogie and the harsh snap of coldwave. A self-diagnosed overthinker and perfectionist, the forthcoming record's finest fruits were birthed from endless nights of studio obsession and psychoanalysis - Harvey's theory of Inchneurotic funkInch as his guiding North Star. Plaudits have already arrived from the likes of Resident Advisor, NME, Paper and numerous DJs across BBC 6Music, Radio 1 and across NPR's top-table of tastemaker stations. Album Tracks 1. Jouissance 2. Age of Acceleration 3. Feeling of Love Ft. Dam-Funk 4. Holding Pattern 5. Michael Was 6. Right About You 7. Slackers 8. Type a Ft. Sos 9. Angry Young Man 10. Boy 11. Time on My Side

Tabloid News is the debut solo album by San Antonio born and based singer and songwriter Harvey McLaughlin. The album represents something of a throwback to the 1970's piano based long players by the likes of greats such as Warren Zevon, Randy Newman and Tom Waits with nods to New Orleans R&B and Chicano Soul while maintaining the urgency of the young roots rock bands that Harvey has honed his craft and musicianship with over the last dozen. He only half-jokingly admits InchI want to play the piano the way Link Wray plays the guitar.Inch Thematically the album draws on thirty year old McLaughlin's fascination with pulp magazines and urban legends as seen through the eyes of a young but weary romantic. The collection of thirteen original songs is simultaneously poetic and musically engaging but lacking the saccharine precociousness of many of his contemporaries. The LP is pressed on 140 gram black vinyl and has a tabloid newsprint insert. Album Tracks 1. Tabloid News 2. Bigfootsville 3. Last Call at the Dixie Pig 4. Mysterioso Blues 5. The Devil in the Dance Hall 6. My Baby's Too Good (For the 515) 7. The Great Hihmoga Hotel Fire of 1893 8. Must've Been Elvis 9. Tunguska 10. November 1st 11.
