It’s been about a month since I started using my new Hauslane range, and I’m very happy with it. The product performs as expected and works exactly as intended. Because I have an open-concept kitchen, good ventilation is very important to me, especially when cooking and when I need to clear food odors coming from my neighbor’s unit. So far, the ventilation performance has been great. I do use it at the highest power at all times. The only minor issue is that it’s not as fingerprint-resistant as I expected. It’s not a major problem, but I can definitely notice a difference compared with my other appliances. Overall, though, I’m very happy with the product and would recommend it.

Didn’t tried the performance of the system yet but I just can mention the poor design, very hard to install. Anchors hard to locate for drilling the cabinet, electrical outlet on the top, not easy to manage you need to drill another hole in the cabinet. The electrical outlet cannot be changed for the back of the hood. They have provided a hole however, but it is not removable because there are rivets that prevent it from being done. Too bad. I had to install an electrical outlet behind the furniture, which was not practical… Also, for the 6" air outlet, there are fins with very cheap rubber stops that tore when inserting the metal pipe which cut them. I had to replace them with screws. The size of the main hole of 6 inches recommended by the manufacturer is not good, it must be lengthened to be able to insert the hood and slide it into the fixings in the correct position. The screws provided are not suitable for furniture made of chipboard (like Ikea). Again I had to change them for bolts and nuts for more strength but above all for safety. It is also necessary to adapt so that the anchors of the hood are not facing the fixings of the furniture. In short, very complicated to install. I do not recommend it for people who do not know how to DIY...

I just had my PS18 under cabinet hood installed and looks great. It was easy setup with the help of a friend. Tried for the first time and it works as expected. No more cooking hassle.

Very elegant, quiet, powerful suction, plugs in, no need for hard wiring. Great buy for priceoint

I like the styling, features and apparent build quality. I don't like that upon lightening up I found that dual intensity lighting system doesn't work, only one level available - I've been informed the manual is out of date. The 2 level intensity settngs is for earlier generation model using halogen lamps, my unit is an upgrade the has LED lamps with single inrtensityAlso - manual leaves some things to be desired, no reference to the drip tray or how to install it and install would have been much easier if a template for the mounting screw locations was provided. How the defective light issue gets resolved.
