I replaced a five year old thermador gas range with a Frigidaire induction range, and I wanted to also replace the Thermador built in vent. That vent was $2,000 and I was never happy with it. The cfm was huge in theory but it never really seemed to clear out a lot despite it being a new install with a direct vent up through the roof with the 10" vent. I also dreaded cleaning those filter baffles. I've had this vent for three weeks with daily cooking and it's been great. The led lights are very bright too see the cooktop. There is only one setting which I'm fine with but that could be a small improvement they implement. The lowest exhaust setting is very quiet and moves plenty of air for casual cooking. The highest setting is quieter than the lowest on the Thermador and it moves everything out. I never heard of this brand and I am very impressed. The baffles can be put in the dishwasher which i haven't needed to do yet. As an aside the move to induction has been great for cooking and I notice a huge difference in the grease. Induction doesn't create a thermal flow near as much and it doesn't cause heat that bakes in the grease in the vent.
