Worm's second album, the early 2020 Gloomlord, was a precursor to the massive impact that would make the world tremble on 2021's Foreverglade. Itself a large stylistic leap forward from Worm's debut album, Gloomlord brought the band to wider attention and the Floridian funeral doom contained within has since amassed a cult-like following of it's own.Until now Gloomlord has been a somewhat difficult score in the States and often unavailable. As such, with the band now firmly at home on 20 Buck Spin and looking to make it's first live appearances in 2023 it was time to sate the increasing demand and make Gloomlord easily available to the masses. As an added bonus the album has been completely re-mastered by Greg Chandler of the funereal legends Esoteric at Priory Recording Studios in the UK. And like the Foreverglade and Bluenothing vinyl releases, the reissued Gloomlord now comes with a huge poster insert. With those added aspects lead progenitor Phantom Slaughter considers this the definitive version of Gloomlord.InchGloomlord is one of those magnificent albums that is likely to hook the right kind of listener immediately on the sheer strength of it's holistic sound and vision, but it will continue to reveal careful detail the more and closer one listens.Inch -Last Rites Album Tracks 1. Putrefying Swamp Mists at Dusk 2. Rotting Spheres of Sentient Blackness 3. Apparations of Gloom 4. Melting in the Necrosphere 5. Abysmal Dimensions

If Songs of Praise was fuelled by pint-sloshing teenage vitriol, then Drunk Tank Pink delved into a different kind of intensity. Wading into uncharted musical waters, emboldened by their wit and earned cynicism, they created something with the abandon of a band who had nothing to lose. Having forced their way through their second album's identity crisis, they arrive, finally, at a place of hard-won maturity. Enter Food for Worms, which Steen declares to be Inchthe Lamborghini of shame records.Inch It marks a sonic departure from anything they've done before, abandoning their post-punk beginnings for more eclectic influences, drawing from the tense atmospherics of Merchandise, the sharp yet uncomplicated lyrics of Lou Reed and the more melodic works of 90s German band, Blumfeld. For the first time, the band are not delving inwards, but seeking to capture the world around them. InchI don't think you can be in your own head forever, Inch says Steen. A conversation after one of their gigs with a friend prompted a stray thought that he held onto InchIt's weird, isn't it? Popular music is always about love, heartbreak, or yourself. There isn't much about your mates.Inch In many ways, the album is an ode to friendship, and a documentation of the dynamic that only five people who have grown up together - and grown so close, against all odds - can share. Album Tracks 1. Fingers of Steel 2. Six-Pack 3. Yankees 4. Alibis 5. Adderall 6. Orchid 7. The Fall of Paul 8. Burning By Design 9. Different Person 10. All the People
