It was a huge success and even appeared in some Inchbest album of the yearInch lists in various magazines. Due to public demand, the band's first mini-album »Heavy Metal 2020« is now being re-issued on High Roller. In 2020, the duo of Bruno S. and Jonas W. had recorded a demo tape consisting of original compositions InchIntrudersInch, InchForce And WillInch and InchHeavy Metal 2020Inch as well as a cover version of InchRest In PeaceInch by Wolf (UK). The four tracks were later released by Fucking Kill Records on tape and vinyl. Jonas explains how Kerrigan came into being in the first place InchWhen we jammed on some traditional heavy metal riffs during a rehearsal with our funeral doom band Lone Wanderer, we quickly recognized how much fun we were heaving playing this kind of music. The potential was huge. We met again for another session in our rehearsal room and in no time the song 'Intruders' was more or less finished.Inch Bruno continues the story InchIt all felt pretty natural, playing these uplifting classic heavy metal numbers in between our more doomy material. We just experimented with the first few riffs we wrote for Kerrigan and it was apparent we wanted to record a little demo containing the new material. So the beginnings of the band were really spontaneous, of course inspired by the multitude of metal bands we were listening to back at the time (mainly NWOBHM, and classic heavy metal in general). Chris of Fucking Kill Records gave us some great support and put out »Hea

Around the Fur the follow-up to Deftones' passionate, aggressive Adrenaline, sees the California quartet expanding on the sheer rage of their earlier work, adding new, more sinister shades to their already extreme sound. The opening InchMy Own Summer (Shove It),Inch serves as an introduction to the album's sonic theme sinewy guitars and eerie whispers alternate with fast, violent crunch. Sepultura's Max Cavallero contributes guitar and vocals to InchHeadup,Inch while InchMXInch finds singer Chino trading off vocal lines with Annalynn Cunningham, (wife of Deftones' drummer Abe) in an acerbic take on the rock star mentality. Vocal acrobat Moreno attacks a variety of styles his breathy, psychotic recitations sound downright industrial, while the album's calmer, more brooding moments show his gift for haunting melody. Behind him, guitarist Stephen Carpenter's heavy wall of sound is astoundingly muscular, yet inspiringly agile. When Deftones' hellish fury hits full tilt, as it always does on this album, Moreno's voice erupts into screams which are best described as otherworldly, transforming this intense musical firestorm into a hurtling juggernaut of aggression.
