What an adorable and warm cozy adventure game this is! I am a huge Animal Crossing fan and bought this game thinking it would be similar, but I was wrong. As soon as you open that casing, you are greeted by such a cute inner picture! Makes it twice worth it! On to the game: First you get to choose a cute chibi animal type avatar, then you are in a gentle plane with lots of Sanrio characters, and then things go crazy, giving a sense of danger for your avatar and the other characters, and then just like that, you descend safely using colorful balloons that will let you fall safely to this island, and thus the game begins. There are lots of quests to do, and some require 1 or even up to 4 (real time) days to complete. The game itself runs on its own clock and time so events that take place on day or night can be easily completed during your playthrough. You can even use beds to speed up the process of what time you want to be at. The game is very cozy, but there's lots of exploring to do, and you gradually get items and abilities unlocked that will allow you to expand your exploration and find more Sanrio characters to befriend. I particularly love My Melody and Kuromi, and Badtz Maru and Keropi are really fun, and Cinnamon Roll is so ADORABLE, I actually confused him for a female. Playing it on Switch 1 was great, but when I got the Switch 2 upgrade, while I do think it was expensive, it truly enhanced my experience with this game. Plays great either on handheld or TV, the underwater areas cause a lot of stutter, sadly, and I have not tried playing online. There are so many items to collect, a TON of daily things to do that you might even feel overwhelmed at some points sometimes, but it's all so good and worth it, and you can just relax and play at your leisure, as none of the quests have time limits. HOWEVER, the monthly events, which you unlock after you have enough of the Sanrio Characters befriended, do have a set time of beginning and end, so you may want to plan accordingly. Don't worry though, they are easy enough to collect items for, so you'll never feel like you're slacking... unless you are actually slacking on said events. TOTALLY recommend this game for those who love Cozy games.

Pretty solid game — I was half expecting to be disappointed but was pleasantly surprised. Graphics are cute, there's tons of avatar and home customization, and the island is big so there's lots to explore. Game has plenty of quests and they all move at a pretty lax pace so you'll have stuff to do for a while. I've seen a lot of people try to compare this game to Animal Crossing but personally I'd say it's more like Disney Dreamlight Valley what with the little buddy/friendship system that it has... there are some aspects of the game that are dependent on real-world time, not necessarily all of them are though. I got this during the tech fest sale for about $25, which is honestly about the max I'd value this game at. If I had complaints about anything it would be some minor performance issues like the occasional bugginess and lag + loading screens are slow and the characters can feel a little bland at times. I can't say I regret my purchase though, the game's been pretty fun and I've gotten quite a bit of entertainment out of it. If you happen to catch it on sale I'd totally recommend snagging it.

This game has surpassed all of my expectations. I love gaming, but I don’t like thinking and using a lot of strategy when it comes to games. Cozy games are the way to go! I saw this game on sale, and I picked it up to try it. I had no idea what to expect, but this has become one of my new favorite games. The gameplay is not difficult at all, you just complete quests for the Sanrio characters all while finding out the lore of the island that you are vacationing in. It’s just immersing yourself into the world of Sanrio and hanging out with your favorite characters. The map of the island is actually huge, and there is so much to explore. Would recommend for any cozy gamer!

I absolutely adore this game. The exploration, crafting, and decorating are great/fun. Plus, the overall design of the game is adorable and nostalgic (especially if you're familiar with Sanrio characters).

I absolutely love Hello Kitty just like anyone else, but this game is just so cute and cozy! It’s like a bit of animal crossing but you get to go out and explore and make friends along the way!! I like the option to make deeper friendships with the other islanders, I just think it’s so cute!

Got this as a last minute christmas gift for my daughter whose Switch cover is Hello Kitty. She didnt yet have the game so she was happy to get the game to go with it. It arrived the very next day and the price was equal to or lower than any other retail site.

Such a fun game, with new characters and levels to keep you engaged daily without going down an all-day rabbit hole.

My friend loves it! There is honestly a lot of stuff you can do in this game. Collecting items is a bit grinding, but I love the pop of color this game has. Perfect game for a cozy season.
