Hemiolia - Trionfo Romano - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

?Does anyone know the violinist Jacques-Philippe Lamoninary, who was born in northern France at the beginning of the 18th century? Despite his fairly regional career, Lamoninary knew plenty about the numerous Italian composers who were in vogue in France around 1750. He perfectly mastered the art of composing sonatas for two violins and bass in the Italian style, as his first three opera reveal. He can therefore be associated with the French school of composition, which was clearly inspired by Italy, but also by Rameau. With this recording, the Ensemble Hemiolia - with violinist Emmanuel Resche-Caserta - wishes to pay tribute to this brilliant and enigmatic composer, whose music invites us to a voyage of discovery from the very first note.

Born in the high elevation of Denver, Fox Lake brings an elevated and energetic sound to the heavy music scene. The band started in 2017 as four friends jamming in their basement looking to branch out from the typical metalcore sound by incorporating elements of their favorite genres hardcore, hip hop, and rock 'n' roll. Fox Lake has continually leveled up by giving audiences undeniable grooves, punch rhythms, and an anti-establishment swagger. It's all culminated into a sonic, brass-knuckled punch to the face that's landing on anyone in their proximity. Album Tracks 1. For the Love of the Game 2. Tough Luck 3. Freestyle 4.
