Q: Is there a way to change the ropes to make front 30 and sides 40?
A: Yes. You can use it either 40" wide or 30" wide. We had it 40" wide at first. Didn't like how close it was to other swing. Changed it to 30" wide. All you have to do is change what corners you bolt the rope to the frame.
Q: How long are the ropes? My tree branch is quite high.
A: Can easily be extended with additional ropes or chains (not included, you would have to supply).
