A: Its not a kickstart has a throttle by the handles and headlights and taillights and led lights all around it

A: No perfect for an eight year old they can use it sitting down or standing gets up to speeds of 10 miles an hour. Which is perfect not to fast

BEST CHOICE !!!!
Easy to assemble, easy to ride and learn to use, love the speed we have adult ones and bought 2 kid one's and we ride as a family to school and to the stores, feel safe in them especially since it has lights, and the hight is perfect i have a 5 and a 6 year old, batter last us a good ammount of time and light to cary up stairs or in car

I bought this scooter for my 6-year-old, and it’s been a great little upgrade from the regular push scooters. The speed is very manageable, which was my biggest concern. The three modes make it easy to start slow and let them build confidence before switching to the faster setting. The seat is actually one of the reasons I picked this model. My kid doesn’t always like standing for long rides, and the soft seat makes it much easier for them to stay balanced. The solid tires are another plus — no worrying about air pressure or dealing with flat tires. The lighting is surprisingly good. The neon effects are fun for the kids, but as a parent, I really appreciate the bright brake light and front light when they’re riding in the evening. It’s easier to keep track of them, and cars can see them better. The only downside is that the scooter is a bit heavier than I expected. It’s not difficult for an adult to lift, but definitely not something a younger child could carry on their own. The battery range is fine for short neighborhood rides, just not for very long outings. Overall, my child absolutely loves it, and I feel safe letting them ride it around the block. For the price, it’s a solid, well-built scooter for younger kids.
