With the ability to switch between 2-channel or 4-channel input operation, the HFXR adapts to mono sub setups or full stereo configurations for maximum flexibility.At its heart is an 8.5-volt line driver preamp output that delivers a strong, clean signal to your amplifiers, reducing noise and maintaining clarity even at higher volumes. A dedicated pre-amp direct sub in and sub-out path means your bass channel gets a signal optimized separately for low-end control. You also get a remote bass level knob, so you can tweak the bass output from the driver’s seat, and a 45 Hz bass boost via a quasi-parametric EQ for deep tunable lows.Front and rear high-pass filters use 2nd-order Butterworth topology, letting you set the cut-off frequencies for front and rear channels so your speakers only see the frequencies they are designed for. A 180-degree phase-shift switch helps align your subwoofer with the rest of your system to ensure coherent bass. Level adjustments for front, rear and sub channels provide granular control over each output.
