Wow, easy to put together and a real honest deal for a great Low Price. What more could a Best Buy Customer ask for? I liked it so much i purchased one for my daughter in California, and they shipped it to the store closest to wheee she lives, WOW! Look, for the price I was excited. It’s a novelty. I can’t even assemble it because of the poor construction.

I am not a regular 6 string guitar player. I’ve always wanted to learn and have owned them in the past. Picked this up after listening to real cigar box guitar players. The CD it comes with wasn’t able to play I guess because it’s a CDRW and I don’t have one of those players. It doesn’t work in a DVD player. I was able to install the strings easily following the directions in the booklet. As far as tuning it I actually bought a cheap electric tuner from Amazon for that. I have lots of fun playing my own tunes on it and none of the hassle of 3 extra strings.

This was a Christmas gift for my guitarist son in law, he loves it! It sounds great with or without the amp and he has thourougly enjoyed it. He was empressed with the instructions and has already started teaching my 8 year old grandson. What a find! He did replace the strings.

The “pickup” didn’t work, and you can only access the inside by cutting it open. I kept the neck and the bridge pieces, so for those parts, and the pretty bad quality slide it was worth it ( I only paid $10 and had a gift card card for the rest). You can find well made cigar box guitars online for only a bit more money, and they will work well, and have way more mojo. But it’s fine for a toy.

Received quickly. This wasca Christmas gift and the recipient was very happy. Minor assembly needed. Would buy again.

Bought this just to have one, turns out to be a lot of fun.

I could not pass up the opportunity to make and play a slide cigar box guitar. All your have to do is put on the strings... The slide works well and the electric pickup sounds good out of most of my amps. I play guitar and bass among other things... This guitar is easy to play and I learned to play slide in a few hours. The book and cd are great. follow the book and cd and you will be going quickly. I liked the guitar so much I bought a second to customize... I will be buying a third to leave at my vacation home or to be a travel guitar. $35... Man, what a solid package.

Don’t buy this! I bought it and I did not even a lot, considering the price, but I was so disappointed! It broke within an hour of using it, and the store wouldn’t allow for a return or an exchange. I’ve been letting it sit around as trashy decoration ever since I bought it bc I can’t go through with throwing it out because it feels like such a waste.
