The Hisense 55” Class S7 Canvas TV is a 4K QLED Smart Google TV. It features a Matte Display, which is ideal for presenting the collection of over 1,000 included artworks, or your personal collection of high-resolution photos. Simply turn the power off when you are through watching TV, and the slideshow begins. The S7 Canvas TV includes a Teak Frame, creating the look of a masterpiece, even when turned off. The Teak Frame is beige & attaches to the Canvas TV magnetically. Hisense sells additional frames in a variety of colors, including walnut and black. An included UltraSlim mount positions the CanvasTV flush against the wall. This creates an appearance of a beautiful framed piece of art, instead of a traditional television. The CanvasTV can also be installed using a traditional wall mount bracket, if you already have one on your wall and are upgrading your television. A stand for placing CanvasTV on a console is included, as well. A motion detector on CanvasTV saves energy my fading the gallery off as you leave the room & resurrects it when you return. Brightness & color temperature are automatically selected by an Ai ambient light sensor. Dolby Vision IQ & HDR10+Adaptive yield deeper contrast & improved highlights. CONCLUSION: The Hisense S7 Canvas TV makes an impressive statement in my office. It replaces a traditional wall mounted television, transforming the ambience into an art gallery. I love the new vibe; Canvas TV earns my highest recommendation.

The Hisense - 55" Class S7 Canvas Series Smart Google TV 4K QLED Smart Google TV with Hi-Matte Display and UltraSlim Wall Mount (2026) bring a whole new dynamic to the TV and entertainment market. Offering everything expected in a 4k flat-screen TV experience and gaming screen, while blending the elegance and prestige of artwork and high quality digital picture frame. UltraSlim mounting means this looks less like a TV and more like a high end picture frame that changes to your needs with a push of a button. I found this TB to be a welcomed addition to our game room. The previous TV and Mount made it float off the wall and was alway in the way for game night. The Hisense Picture Frame is flat, installed in about 10 minutes (removal and mount) without assistance. While I would recommend a second set of hands, it was easy to do and very secure. The cord cutaways in the back help make this unit truly flat to the wall and literally looks like a framed picture when the art work is scrolling. PROS - High quality, great design, 4k technology - Comes with "frame" and can be changed to your style and colors later (magnetic) - Sound and Video quality is outstanding, no need for a bulky soundbar add-on - GoogleTV and Apps preinstalled with options to add your favorites - All-around great product! We love it! CONS - Wish it came with a few frame color options in the box, but only complaint!

Did t open the tv out of the box but seemed fine. This tv was the more less expensive, but we couldn’t mount it due to the size and molding that was on our fireplace.

Looks great. Easy setup. Slim mount is easy to hang on wall. Getting the power cord tucked away takes some work.

Greate TV. Set up is more involved since it is a wall mount Television. The included instruction for assembling the TV are simple and clear. I suggest watching a video or two for ideas on installing the provided hardware into your homes wall. I really like that this is a google TV. Google TV have access to the android play store. This allows you to sign in and use any calendar app you want. Very helpful if you have a busy family and would like a digital calendar everyone can update to help account for everyone. I enjoy the Matte finish as well. This was something I was concerned about but for the use case and location that I decided to install this television it has come in clutch. The color accuracy is good. I would not use the internal sound system, but it has functional speakers. Along with displaying the Family calendar and Classic Art. I also find it fun to use this display to show off any Digital art I own in the form of NFTs. It is a fun conversation starter and great way to display NFTs if you are into crypto investments.

We absolutely love our Hisense 55” Class S7 CanvasTV 4K QLED Google TV. We had it professionally mounted on the wall in our living room, and it looks fantastic. One of the first things people notice when they come over is how sleek and stylish it looks—it really blends into the room much better than a traditional TV. The picture quality is excellent, with bright colors, sharp details, and a beautiful 4K display that makes movies, shows, and sports look great. We also enjoy using the art display features when we’re not actively watching TV, which helps it feel more like part of the décor than a large black screen on the wall. One feature we especially appreciate is the built-in wall mount that comes included with the TV. It’s a great addition that saves the extra expense and hassle of shopping for a separate mount, and it helps achieve the clean, flush-to-the-wall look that makes the CanvasTV stand out. Google TV has been easy to navigate, and it’s convenient having all of our favorite streaming apps in one place. The overall setup has been smooth, and the TV has performed reliably since we installed it. We’re very happy with the product and think it’s a great option for anyone looking for a TV that combines impressive picture quality with a stylish, wall-mounted design.

I have been looking for a "Picture" television for a while. I love the idea of the dual purpose of static display for decoration as well as a television when needed. Given the opportunity to experience this Hisense Canvas Smart TV is exactly what I needed! In the box you will get the television itself in generic black, two feet for the television to set this television on a stand (Although they are included, don't do this! They may very well work, but it really takes away from the purpose of the television), a power cord (mine is white. Hisense, why white??), the trim color you have chosen, a very nice remote, cord management clips that adhere to the back of the television, and a unique wall mounting system. First thing first...the television wall mounting system. I have mounted many televisions and monitors as I generally prefer this aesthetic for a cleaner look. I have five all mounted screens in my office alone. But this is the first time I have experienced a mounting system like this. Although different, it is very simple and I am very confident that even someone that has not mounted a television before could do this. Just pay attention to the directions. This mount is not a full motion mount. Its whole point is to make the television sit as close to the wall as possible as if it were a mounted picture. And this it does very well. The mounting kit consists of a larger black metal plate with wholes spaced throughout to allow for different wall configurations and stud spacing and two individual "U-Hooks" that mount to the back of the television using a single bolt. A couple soft self adhering tabs are also included to soften the touch of the television against the wall. First, you locate your studs in your wall, position the large black metal mounting plate so that it can be attached to these studs, and securely mount the plate to the wall. Then attach the "U-Hooks" to the back of the television according to the directions. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN. This would also be a good time to attach your power cable and cable management materials. Their location is annotated in the provided directions. With a helping set of hands, lift the television to the previously mounted plate, and make sure that the "U-Hooks" slide over and into the corresponding hooks on the mounting plate. Depending on the size of Canvas Television you purchased, your directions will tell you which mount bracket hooks that your "U-Hooks" will slide into. This whole process is literally like you were mounting a large piece of art with a power cable. Now that your television is hanging on the wall as intended, find your decorative trim pieces. There will be 4 of them, two long & two short to coincide with the size of your television. The bottom and one side are unique so pay attention to their location. There will also be gusset style clips to connect the four pieces together. The best way I found to attach these trim pieces were to connect the top and two sides before mounting them on the television and slipping them on like an upside down U shape. Then put the bottom piece into place and attach the corner connections to secure. Now that your Television install is finished, its time to enjoy! This television has an "Art" mode. I did not see this mentioned very well in the directions, however there is a unique key on your remote that looks like an art piece. You press this button to enter art mode, then MENU to adjust settings. The factory included art pieces look AMAZING. You will literally forget that you just mounted a television. It looks like a painted canvas. Some of the art is even "live" and will animate. It really adds an elegant touch! Now if art really isn't your thing, this Canvas television also has limited onboard storage as well as a spot for USB storage where you can upload your own photos and use the television like a digital picture frame. I did have to perform a firmware update and restart the television before the interface would allow my phone to link to upload pictures, but it is up and running now and works great! A third option that I have actually been using more is that being a Google TV, you can cast your screen to the television and it works amazing! I have a vacation countdown on my computer that I cast to this television so that when I walk by I always know how far I am away from my next adventure! The processing speed and the image on this Hisense Canvas TV are phenomenal. I have more budget friendly smart televisions in my home and you can definitely feel the difference. The television is snappy, displays clear and bright, and surprisingly, the speakers are actually decent! Will they replace a dedicated sound system? No. But are the more adequate than most televisions I have tested? Definitely. This is probably a good time to note that your canvas television can also play ambient music while displaying your art. This can by done by bluetooth device for that USB drive that can be plugged into the back, but this is probably why Hisense put a decent pair of speakers in this television. Now this television is great, but not perfect. My first complaint is the white power cord. Why??? It sticks out like a sore thumb against any wall that is not white. I guess most interior walls are probably a shade of white and maybe this is why, but it annoys me. I am solving this by installing a recessed outlet behind the television so it won't be a problem any longer, but a white power cord is definitely a change. My next complaint is a little more functional. The sleep mode does not work. I have tried every setting, factory reset, turned the settings off and on again, but no luck. This television is supposed to "sleep" after a set time of inactivity, wake upon detecting motion, then sleep and not wake between programmed hours, with default being 11pm to 7am. This television stays on all the time. Now I don't mind it as it is not near anyone's sleeping arrangements, but it is a staple feature of this television and it will not work. That being said, on the date of this review (May 21st, 2026) there was a firmware update that is currently being downloaded. Maybe this will fix the sleep/wake issue. Fingers crossed. Overall, this is a great television. I love it. I have it mounted in a common lounge style room that we are turning into a "vacation" themed room to relax, remember, and plan vacations to warmer weather. I do think, at least for my setup, that a Canvas television is worth the investment. Especially this Hisense Canvas series. But I would like to see this sleep/wake issue fixed.
