Been using it for around three weeks now. No problems so far. The picture is clear, colors look good, and it gets plenty bright. I mostly use it for streaming and gaming, and it's been a solid TV.

This is a really good budget TV in my opinion. The picture is great, (could be better, but for the price!!), and the sound is unbelievable! We haven't even bother to plug in our surround sound due to the quality of the sound coming from the TV itself. UI is very clean. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for something that preforms well without the massive price tag! Great job again Hisense!

I’ve been using the TV for nearly two weeks,the 75-inch screen delivers a fantastic viewing experience, making it a purchase well worth making.

We’ve put this Television through the paces for about 3 weeks now, and it is just outstanding.

The new 2026 Hisense 75" Class U6 Series ULED Mini-LED 4K Fire TV is a great balance for those in the market for an affordable 4K smart TV with good technology including Mini-LED backlighting in a massive 75-inch frame. I decided to set this TV up in place of a higher-end but smaller 65” OLED display that I was mainly using for gaming because having the larger display would cover up some cables and speakers you could see behind the smaller TV. Set up was very simple and self-explanatory with no reliance on instructions as the on-screen walk-through prompts logged me into the existing Wi-Fi and my Amazon account as well as the other streaming services we subscribe to. The remote looks and feels like a Fire TV stick remote with a couple extra buttons to switch inputs on the TV. It features a modern, sleek appearance with an ultra-thin bezel and a glare dampening display which is great for areas that have lots of light sources however you do sacrifice some of the crisp colors and dark blacks as you would see in a higher end, perhaps OLED display. It almost appears to have a matte tone and when it’s on the screen almost looks dark gray in comparison to our other higher-end TVs in our house. We chose to set it up with the included sturdy feet but there is an option to wall mount it as well (wall mount not included). It is also quite thick in comparison to other displays we own which is one of the other sacrifices you make at this price point. The Mini-LED backlighting delivers precise independent control of thousands of tiny LEDs, ensuring vibrant contrast and deep blacks compared to traditional edge-lit models. The Quantum Dot Color (QLED) produces over a billion rich, realistic color shades, making movies, sports and games look beautifully vivid assuming you’re not comparing it side-by-side to a higher-end OLED. It has advanced HDR format support that is compatible with Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and HLG to unlock top-tier visual performance across major streaming services and easily synced to my gaming console. Perhaps one of its strongest features is its brightness level that helps fight indirect glare but that almost matte dark gray look could also be considered by some to be a weakness as well in certain scenarios. Since I did install this TV in the area where I do most of my console gaming, the built-in Game Mode Pro natively supports up to a 144Hz refresh rate, drastically reducing input lag for competitive console and PC gaming. One of my initial concerns was how it would handle a 4K gaming console however the Hisense does surprisingly come equipped with AMD FreeSync Premium and Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) to eliminate screen tearing during fast-paced action sequences and handled high-paced scenes with barely any noticeable drag. The Smart TV interface is exactly how an Amazon Fire TV stick functions that streams all your favorites like Prime Video, Netflix, Disney+, etc. straight out of the box. It includes an Alexa Voice Remote for seamless hands-free navigation, volume adjustments, and smart home management. Another welcome surprise at this lower price point is it can decodes Dolby Atmos and handles everyday TV audio however the built-in 40W stereo speakers lack full sound I prefer in gaming so I have it hooked up to my receiver through the HDMI ARC connection for true home-theater immersion. Overall, the Hisense 75" U6 Series is an exceptional value considering the newer technology features I comes equipped with and I would recommend it to anyone shopping for a large-format display on a budget and wants the peace of mind that it comes with a 2-year warranty. While elite home theater enthusiasts might spot the lack of true blacks and more vivid bright colors, the average user should be impressed with the contrast, anti-glare features and the built-in Amazon Fire TV ecosystem.

There is a lot to love about the Hisense 75" Class U6 Series ULED MiniLED 4K Fire TV. Dolby Vision, HDR10, deep inky blacks getting you 80% of the way to OLED, Dolby Atmos, and more! With this newest version of the U6, Hisense has listened to the feedback about the prior generation and address some important aspects. The previous version's VA panel is no more, replaced by great looking IPS one. There is a VERY noticeable improvement in viewing angle. I can also get noticeably brighter if you've got it in a room with a lot of ambient light. In my case, I don't have a lot of ambient light, so the highest levels of brightness aren't essential, but it's great to know those nits ate there. For several years now, my main tv has been Hisense's 70" A6G and I really didn't have much to complain about other than being stuck with Android TV as its main operating system. After getting this U6 though, I realized what a significant upgrade it really is. Have a look at the pictures I've posted comparing the two to see what I mean. Was better detail and color accuracy on the U6. The last thing I want to mention is the matte screen. Boy oh boy do I love this feature. It might not seem significant at first, but it really contributes to the overall experience. Check out how, in the photos, you get a bunch of reflection from the glossy A6G screen and how there is nearly nothing reflected by the U6. Once you experience the matte display enough it's really annoying to got back to glossy. Hopefully this trend becomes more prevalent. All in all I really love the U6 and it should be my main TV for a good while. It's got great picture quality, bordering on stunning. The FireTV OS is better than Google TV / Android TV, Roku, or WebOS in my experience. And the price is right for something giving to a surprisingly close experience to OLED.

The Hisense U6 Mini LED is Hisense’s entry point into their premium Hi-QLED MiniLED lineup providing “maximum value” for everyday viewing while offering a premium picture quality and features set. The U6 line is available as a Fire TV (Best Buy Exclusive) and Google TV. This review will focus on the Fire TV version but the main features, picture quality, and physical TV will be largely the same between them. After using the TV for the last week, there are a couple software bugs worth noting. IN THE BOX: - U6 TV w/ Adjustable Stand - Power Cable - Voice Remote - Quick Start Guide, User Manual SETUP: The U6 comes with adjustable feet that can be mounted towards the center of the TV or near the outside for those that might want to use a soundbar below the TV, between the feet. Because this is a Fire TV, setup requires an Amazon account to get started and utilize some of the features of this TV. This is a little bit of a drawback for this version because not everyone has an Amazon account nor wants to sign into their TV in this manner. This TV is Alexa compatible which can be an added benefit for those who use Amazon and Alexa within their home. Setup of any additional accessories such as soundbar or streaming device can be done via plugging them into the correct ports on the backside. FEATURES/PICTURE QUALITY: The latest version of the U6 comes packed with features that make the daily viewing experience even better. The anti-glare display provides a matte finish that improves viewing in high light situations with windows or bright lighting. It also comes with a native 144Hz panel which means a higher refresh rate for fast and sharp movements whether watching TV or a movie. The game booster mode makes gameplay even more responsive with VRR up to 240Hz. Nearly every TV these days features some sort of upscaler technology and this one is no different. It uses AI to bring lower resolution content 720p/1080p closer to 4K for a better viewing experience for users. This TV handles upscaling pretty well. The average person would be very happy with the picture quality on lower resolution channels. Upon using some of the popular streaming services such as Prime or HBO Max, content looked sharp and Dolby Vision/Audio/HDR10+ turned on with content that supported it. Some might not be used to the anti-glare finish this TV comes with but the picture quality is stunning. The peak brightness of 600 nits which should be enough for the average room during the day. When the dimming zones are set to high, the colors POP and the black levels are good. With so many local dimming zones, it is able to get fairly close to OLED black levels but not fully. You’ll see some minor blooming in dark rooms with content that has high contrast or in darker scenes. The benefit of Mini-LED is there is no risk of burn in like OLED panels if any image is displayed on the screen for too long. For the average consumer, the picture will look fantastic once tweaked to your preferences. The viewing angles are best when viewed straight on or just off center, they do decrease from the sides slightly. SOFTWARE: As I mentioned above, this version of U6 is the FireTV variant which means it is linked to your Amazon account and limits some of the settings of the TV. I found the menu’s not as intuitive or easy to navigate compared to some of the recent GoogleTV smart TV’s I have used. The TV’s processor seems very quick to respond and snappy which is an upgrade from some Hisense models I have used in the past. Most of the general picture settings can be adjusted which is enough for the average consumer but I found some of the professional display settings to be missing. If you’re looking to color calibrate your TV, I found these settings absent. I also experienced glitches with the audio output when using HDMI eARC and a soundbar. Sometimes when the TV was restarted or powered down (default setting is a deep sleep for quicker boot up) no audio would play through the soundbar. I had to toggle the ARC CEC setting off then back on to get audio to start playing again. OVERALL: The Hisense U6 is a great entry level or daily use TV for those looking to stay on a budget while opting for some of the latest tech in the industry. The 144hz panel makes gaming and movie watching more enjoyable along with the AI 4K upscaler for lower resolution content. I would opt for the GoogleTV version of this model but for those that want FireTV, it is offered.

We have been happy with this upgrade from an older plasma TV not only due to an increase in size but also better quality and overall experience. We already had a Fire TV stick, so the interface is fine and intuitive. We also watch OTA channels, so the seamless integration of live TV into the experience without having to switch inputs is fantastic and the built-in tuner provides a good picture. Streaming content is fast and high quality. The overall experience is immersive, with vivid visuals, great contrast, and true black (at least to my eyes). The setup was enhanced with a new Denon AVR-S570BT. The Fire TV remote that comes with the TV is simple and intuitive. That single remote can operate the entire experience, which is a great improvement over our old setup. The AVR automatically switches and the entire system turns on and switches to the appropriate input when any attached gaming console is powered on. The settings for the TV can be a little confusing since there are so many different settings and they can be accessed from multiple locations and differ based on how you access them. I haven't fully explored all options and settings yet. We are overall very pleased with the TV.

This TV was a great addition to our family room. The picture is good the programming and app setup was easy and no more cable TV box

So far, I have no issues with this TV. The picture is really wonderful and it certainly very smart so it follows commands well. Very happy with my purchase.
