I almost bought the U8K version a couple of years ago, but it was damaged in shipment and never made it. Consequently, i purchased an LG QNED 99 8K based on the brand and the 8k tech. At $3500, you would expect an 8k tv from a major manufacturer to be outstanding but it was anything but - terrible dirty screen, half the screen darker than the other due to terrible local dimming, bad pixels, blooming, etc. The only time it was acceptable was when viewing actual 8k content. I then just took the chance on the successor of the U8K the other day and boy what an amazing difference. At a third the price it is ten times as impressive of a tv. Amazing color, black levels, screen uniformity, remote (can’t stand the LG magic remote), sound, etc, etc. Don’t believe the reviews of highly paid and biased folks/publications - this is an absolutely fantastic television at any price. Look at it for yourself - you will not be disappointed.

The Hisense 75U8N is the best TV I have ever owned. The picture quality is amazing and the black levels are out of this world. No light bleeding around the edges of the screen during dark scenes like my other TVs had. Deep dark blacks and not a washed out gray looking black. There are multiple picture modes to choose from depending on the content type being played. (HDR 10, HDR 10+, Dolby Vision, SDR). It supports audio pass through for all audio types that will send a signal to your AVR or sound bar system and the Google UI seems to be snappy enough to use as a daily driver although I personally use a different streaming device which I already had. The build quality seems good although the one concern I have is the TV stand once mounted to the bottom of the TV seems to pop out a little bit on the top of the mount on the back side of the TV if you wiggle the television which makes me a little uneasy because I feel like it should stay flush with the rest of the back side of the TV. Although that is not a deal-breaker because I could buy a third party Vesa mounted TV mount or stand or even legs but I have not done so yet so it must not concern me that much. All in all I would recommend is TV to anyone who's looking for excellent picture quality and deep dark blacks that to me appeared to be OLED quality and yet this is a mini LED TV. I hope to get years of use out of this television.

Just buy it! As others have mentioned they weren't sure of the quality but I can tell you I am blown away by the 75U8N! Smooth installation after Best Buy did a flawless delivery! I am very happy with the brightness, the details and the OLED like blackness of the screen! Black bars on letter box content are pure black! I've been a long time Samsung, Sony and Panasonic owner but seeing this television in person with actual YouTube content is what sold me on it as well as the many positive reviews and excellent specifications!! I purchased this TV in mid July with an Amazon price match of $1,398! That was an amazing bargain but even though it's more expensive now it's worth every penny! No motion shutters watching Formula 1 racing, audio system is fantastic and I was researching for over a month to try to figure out what model I wanted to purchase and I am so happy I went ahead and got this Hisense! The content is excellent with all the onboard apps no issues as well as my streaming box everything works great and it updated to the latest firmware 613 before initializing everything. Set up using my Google account through my phone everything went flawlessly and it's a great TV!!

I recently bought the Hisense U8 Mini-LED 2024, and here’s my honest take. The picture quality blew me away — super bright, vivid colors, and deep blacks, especially in HDR. Watching movies or shows feels like a mini home theater. The sound is surprisingly good for built-in speakers — pretty immersive with decent bass. I also use it for my PS5, and it handles 120Hz and HDMI 2.1 perfectly. No lag, smooth gameplay. The Google TV interface is fast and smooth, with all the major apps ready to go. Downsides? The viewing angles could be better — colors fade a bit when watching from the side. And the TV is a bit thicker than an OLED. Overall, it’s an amazing value if you want top-tier picture quality without paying OLED prices.

I needed an upgrade for my master bedroom TV and this did the trick. It first caught my eye due to it's wi-fi 7 (6E) capabilities, and that did not disappoint. I get over 600mbps, more than enough speed to handle anything I would likely see or need in my lifetime. The picture on the store display was phenomenal and right out of the box it looked great in my bedroom as well. I did calibrate it and noticed a little difference for the better. The stand is center mounted, so it will fit on a heavy dresser if you're not going to wall mount it. I added a Hisense soundbar/sub, and my room is now a mini theater. Although I keep my room dark, when I have the light on, this TV has very little reflection from it. The darks are dark and playing Madden on my series X is amazing! Set-up was easy and I love the remote. The GoogleTV operating system is snappy. I would recommend this TV to friends and family and buy it again 10 out of 10 times! This is my first Hisense TV and I am impressed with the value I got for the $1400 I spent.

I recently purchased the Hisense 75" U8 Series Mini-LED 4K UHD QLED Smart Google TV, and I couldn't be happier with my decision! From the moment I turned it on, the picture quality blew me away. The colors are vibrant, the blacks are deep, and the clarity is incredible. Watching movies and sports feels like being in a theater! The Google TV interface is smooth and user-friendly, making it easy to access all my favorite streaming apps. The Mini-LED technology really makes a difference, especially in bright and dark scenes—it handles both perfectly without losing detail. Setting it up was a breeze, and the sound quality is surprisingly rich even without external speakers. Plus, the TV’s design is sleek and modern, adding a touch of elegance to my living room. If you're looking for a top-tier TV at a reasonable price, this is the one to get! Highly recommend it for movie lovers, gamers, and sports enthusiasts alike.

This tv is fantastic for the price point. The panel is vibrant and beautiful to look at. Really good brightness and colors. The blacks and whites for not being OLED are out of this world. I have an OLED tv in my bedroom and the quality is almost identical I really can’t tell a difference most times

Excellent. Brightness and clarity are amazing. Sound is better than most sound bars. Use an optical out to run it into my old stereo for amazing theater experience. Google TV works well. The TV operating system is easy to use too. 75 inch easily fits in my family room. (May get an 85 inch ...)

The tv has a great picture, especially in Dolby vision. It sounds good, even without a soundbar. I got a great deal on it too. The only issue I have is that when watching sports, it has a tendency to stutter quite a bit that really annoyed me. I watched a ton of videos on YouTube on how to fix it, but it continued to do it. I eventually bought an Apple TV box and the issue I had completely went away. I definitely made a great choice and would make it again, unless the Sony Bravia 9 magically dropped $1500 in price lol

I'm really impressed with how bright this television is. I have a window right next to it and it has no problems displaying bright beautiful colors. This model also does a very good job of displaying lower resolution content. Over the weekend I had some family over to watch the Braves game and was very happy with how the TV upscaled and cleaned up the image. The sound is also significantly better than any other TV I've ever had and I love the remote, its high quality and makes operating the Tv seamless.

BAM! POW! One two punch knocking the competition right out. This TV is crystal clear. The brightness levels during the day are unparalleled. The dark scenes are amazing. The colors are vibrant. All around an amazing TV with great sound for a TV. I don't have to use my stereo unless I really want to.

Really like screen size and I particularly appreciate the control of color, contrast, and brightness that the vendor has offered the user of this mini led TV. I can adjust both the regular shows as well as the commercials separately. So again at the 1 month of use I’m very happy with the performance

This Hisense 75" Class U8 TV is absolutely fantastic! The picture quality is the best I have seen, comparable to other TVs much more expensive. The value is great, very easy menu to adjust the Settings to exactly the way you want. I will certainly enjoy the TV, will recommend to others. Thank you!

Ok…. I have been researching for over a year. I had decided on a G series LG. I dont purchase TV’s often, but when I do, I want future proof. I live in a home where the room is very bright during the daytime, so reflection mattered, as well as how bright it would be. This thing has FAR exceeded my expectations, and Im in disbelief with the quality, much less at THIS price point. Literally, it can be waaaay too bright. Furthermore, the usability is SUPER EASY. Ive always HATED using the “smart” parts of a TV. Its never easy to use. We have used an Apple TV until now. How they have the software laid out is unbeatable. Do not hesitate. This is THE TV to buy.

I've purchased all the tv technologies available over the years from oled to qleds and this is by far the best one out all of them! This tv has all the bell and whistles but for half the price. You benefit features like Dolby Atmos and Vision which even some of the top brands don't not even feature. The TV produces very bright colorful scenes and them black levels are extraordinary! I highly recommend this TV for your entertainment room movie room man cave whatever you want to call it.

For an LED tv it is a fantastic display. It is very bright and the black levels are incredible during daytime viewing. The sound was honestly the best I have ever heard produced from a television! Unfortunately I watch mostly at night and in a dimmly lit room, and since I originally came from an OLED, I just wasn’t completely satisfied with some of the minor light bleed in the corners during movies with black bars. If you have not been spoiled by OLED yet, or if most of your viewing is during the day time, than this will be a great option!
