I'm extremely impressed with this TVs picture quality and quick / responsive operating system. This is my first Hisense, have always had TCL 6 series in the past after moving to LED from a high end Panasonic Plasma.. All 6 series still going strong and are from 3-6 years old now.. But in 2022 I made the mistake of trying a 5 series (75" TCL 546) .. It's the first TCL I was beyond disappointed in. Almost 1/3 of the screen on the 546 after only a year and half now has a purple glow, and the google operating system is/has been super laggy with bugs from day 1 to the point I bought a Roku Ultra to use instead. Finally I was not able to put up with the picture anymore so I decided to give Hisense a try and bump up to an 85" with this new U7K which I snagged on sale when it hit the market finally. The picture quality, screen uniformity, premium features and operating system are fantastic. Color accuracy on preset settings out of the box is world's better than the TCL was after being fully calibrated when it was new. Worth noting, I do use a Nakamichi Dolby Atmos sound system, but I must say was pretty impressed by the TVs sound compared to any other I own.. It has a built-in subwoofer and for the average person I think it would be very adequate. Also hisense has a 2 year warranty VS TCLs 1 year.. I got Bestbuys protection as well this time around for extra security. Hisense really makes some high quality stuff now, do your homework and you will see that. Hopefully they keep it up and don't go down in quality like the TCLs seem to be each year. For now tho, I 100% can recommend this TV.. for it's 85" price point, it cannot be beat in my opinion.

I was actually looking at the U8 and UX versions of this tv but couldn’t pass up the U7 for the price ($1,200) This tv is truly amazing, the black levels are really good, doesn’t compare to my 77 inch OLED but still really good. If you watch a lot of movies and sports I definitely recommend purchasing this tv. HDR and 4k content looks awesome!

It has the clarity, brightness and features of a top-tier TV. I didn't have to go for U8K because I find all I needed with this U7K tv. I even find myself lowering the brightness. It has the chops to compete with the high end ones. This TV has everything, highly recommended.

Great tv no flaws. Sony sound earc volume readout not working not sure who's fault (feed back?) Surprisingly sony sound system sounds better than on mid-level 65" sony tv. Did buy warranty so it won't break

So far it's working well. I was hoping it would work with my Alexa app. The picture is clear and large. The bestbuy team did a great job putting it on the new wall mount.

I don't normally post reviews but I felt compelled to shout out into the void about the amazing experience I've had with the Hisense 85 inch U7K TV. When it comes to television purchases, my usual choices fall into the 'budget-but still performs okay' realm; the TV brands in my house are Vizio, TCL and now Hisense, so that tells you what my experiences and expectations are for this type of product. I just always try to find bargains, the best value versus performance and I end up making all sorts of concessions regarding quality and performance; related to this, about a year ago I actually bought a Hisense television for my gaming room and ended up getting it replaced by the company due to numerous visible black specks and dirt between the glass and the panel. I went through the return process because of the low amount I paid for a 50 inch gaming TV that had image quality and gaming features I was looking for. Customer service was actually not bad, scheduling a local repair company that determined I needed a replacement and Hisense shipped a new unit that thankfully did not have any panel defects. Black Friday came around this year and I started seeing lots of deals on televisions, and while I wasn't particularly looking to upgrade our main living room television, a five year old 70 inch Vizio, my mind started to wander when I came upon the listing for this Hisense TV, especially after reading universally positive reviews (it also didn't help that I wanted a bigger screen that what we already had), but I also read many discussion forums where some people were encountering manufacturing defects with this TV as well, and they ended up in the nightmare of having to return and pack a 85 inch television. I definitely hesitated to buy another Hisense based on my previous experience and what other users of this unit encountered, but my better judgement lost against this television's price, size and features. I'm so glad I clicked the add to cart button (and that I kept at it because it kept selling out) because I never expected this level of quality for a TV of this size and price. The screen on this thing is extremely bright all around, and whatever needs to be brighter on the image is and there is no blooming from colors or highlights against black areas. I just recently watched Die Hard on a 4K disc (as is our holiday tradition) and it honestly felt like I was watching it for the very first time, same with Star Wars or any movie that I've watched hundreds of times, the image quality on this thing is that good and that is one of the other qualities I was looking for, it is absolutely the best television I've ever owned. Obviously I can't speak of Sony or Samsung, I've never owned one of their televisions, but I am definitely now a Hisense loyalist; I'm not sure if I lucked out and won the panel lottery or they ramp up quality control on their bigger panels, but so far I have not seen any defects, dirty screen effects or any other distracting imperfections on the screen. Best Buy delivery was great, the Geek Squad personnel treated it with kid gloves and it arrived safely to our home with no issues. I guess your mile may vary, as with any piece of electronics, but all I can say is I'm glad I took a chance on this larger purchase and I am hoping it'll last us a long time! If you're looking for a 80+ inch TV, this will not disappoint in any way.

I am coming off of a 75" TCL 6 series that died at 4 years seven months. Thanks Geek Squad 5 yr Warranty!! I decided to research Hisense and upgrade to the 85". I am so glad I did. This is an amazing TV. I honestly thought it would be hard to beat the picture quality of the TCL, but this thing blows that old TV away! The picture quality is absolutely amazing. The colors are liquid vibrant and the blacks are absolutely outstanding. I like a very bright picture for my room and this TV is absolutely outstanding. On total black screens with white titles, there is zero blooming and the picture is crystal perfect. Night scenes are also fantastic. I have not had mine professionally calibrated and to be honest, with all the different cinema and theater settings, I have zero need to. After the initial first week or so of toying around with settings, I had mine dialed in to my perfect preferences and picture. There is a reason several review sites I visited called the U7 series, "the OLED killer". It really is that good. I searched YouTube 4k videos for OLED Black and found tons of great content to get this TV dialed in. If you are on the fence or still researching....stop! This is the real deal!

This TV is seriously underrated! It's almost half the cost of a similar Samsung and the picture is top-notch. It's a clean design with easy-to-use software and a great remote. I have no complaints, buy this TV!

I had a 10 ft. projector setup in my media room and have been debating for quiet sometime on replacing it with an 85" TV. I went to a few Best Buys and looked at all the different brands having a particular price range I wanted to stay within my price range. I read enough articles knowing to get a higher refresh rate so this TV hit all my bells and whistles. i usually do all my installations but, knew this big boy was going to require Best Buy to install it for me upstairs. Excellent job guys. When I first started watching the TV, I was totally blown away. Watching Saving Private Ryan was like watching it for the first time in a whole new perspective. I could see the grains of sand on clothing and the stubble of hairs of faces of the characters. I have had it for a month now and is one of the best purchases i have ever made. You wont be dissapointed.

This TV is amazing, I wasnt sure what to expect but after seeing some youtube reviews and the price of this TV being great thanks to their super bowl sale I jumped on it and it did not disappoint. Amazing picture, gaming mode is fantastic, Dolby Vision is a little dark, but once adjusted and calibrated it really is an amazing picture, The Mini-LED doesnt have the blacks of OLED, but very close and more than makes up for it with its brightness and contrast and thanks to the TVs built in subwoofer and Dolby Atmos, You dont even need to get a speaker bar with it. The audio quality is great for what it is. My only gripes with it are minor, Google TV sucks and I wish the TVs legs didnt stick out as far as they did. But these are personal gripes and Probably doesnt apply to many others, if anyone.

A Great TV! I was a bit hesitant at first, with the size and it being Hisense ... but for the price, its unbelievably good. If I told you it was an OLED, you'd likely believe me. The blacks are VERY good - its not quite as smooth on the edges as an OLED .... but the ULED Mini-LED is super close.
