arrived broken and covered in hair

i spent an hour trying to hook this up and the hose is defective and clearly broken. the unit was covered in someone's hair and i can't afford a replacement and the heat index is about to hit 100F. this is a nightmare

Based on my experience and other reviews of the seller, it is highly likely that you will receive a defective unit. The packaging they use is not reusable, and neither Best Buy nor the seller will assist in the return process. They make it as difficult as possible to return a broken air conditioner, forcing you to be stuck with a $200 paperweight.

Works as it should. Remote functions great and makes it easy to be lazy and avoid getting up to make changes on the unit controls. This unit is for a small room only.
