Q: Does this bring a manual and map like the fangamer version?
A: This is the Fangamer version so yes it does.
A: Not sure if this was answered, but I'd reach out to their support. My cashier did not place an Email down when I asked for an email receipt. So, my code was planned to be sent to "EMAIL". Yes just Email, not my actual email, but the word EMAIL. For anyone having issues like this, your receipt (digital or physical) should state where your code is going to. If it doesn't list your email, then you gotta go back and ask for that code!! (or call their support...the store won't be able to give you the code)
A: No the Best Buy version only contains the first 3 DLC while Godmaster is a 1.7 GB download. If you want the full DLC on cart you’ll have to wait for the next batch of games from Fangsmer to arrive. The new sequel isn’t out and no clue on how they’ll handle the physical release of that.
Q: What is digital copy vs physical copy
A: Digital copy is where you download it directly from the Nintendo E-shop. Physical copy is an actual physical cartridge you buy in-store. If you buy the digital copy, what you get is a code you type into E-shop to download it.
A: Just in case you haven’t found your answer already, let me help you out. The physical version is basically the same as the digital version in that both versions include all the DLC by default. The only added thing you’re paying for is just the game being in physical form but you do admittedly get an added bonus of a physical manual, map, and a discount for some merch on a site I can’t remember the name of. If that seems worth your time then I say go for it!
