I purchased the Hollyland Lyra 4k Webcam as a dedicated solution to film talking head video segments for YouTube, and let me tell you it did not disappoint. Pros: It's 4k. It has a physical privacy shutter if you need it, just twist the lens bezel to open and close it. Installing the app from Hollyland let's you tweak the image quality including exposure and color among other things. The included mount works well to position the webcam either on top of your monitor or on a tripod or other rig that uses a standard 1/4-20 threaded connection. The webcam is attached to the stand with magnets either in a horizontal or vertical orientation making it easy to produce content for social media. The image quality is superb, rivaling dedicated video cameras costing many times the price of the Hollyland Lyra. But to me, while video quality is important, I think audio quality is even more important. And with the included Lark A1 wireless microphone you can get near broadcast quality audio. With this set up you can have both great audio and video without compromises. And at this price it is absolutely the best value out there for an all in one solution. Cons: At this price point I really can't find much to nit pick with it. I wish the USB-c cable was longer, but honestly that's about it. In summary, if you need a good Webcam, buy this one and don't look back.

I cam stream. Still figuring out how to work this thing, but you need the software if you don't have other software to use. Make sure the settings are set up right in the software if you unistall it. The camera will keep those settings until the next time you alter them in the product software. Affordable and the wireless mic is a great bonus.

This is by far the best camera I’ve ever used. It’s truly plug-and-play right out of the box—no complicated or confusing setup like you get with many other brands. The image quality is incredibly sharp and crystal clear. Honestly, I don’t know how it could get much better. The built-in studio software is a great bonus, allowing you to easily adjust lighting and other settings without needing additional tools. The included microphone is just as impressive. I’ve always struggled with inconsistent audio—my voice dropping in and out or fluctuating in volume—but this completely solved that. The sound is clear, steady, and consistent no matter how I move or speak. Overall, I can’t say enough good things about this camera. If you’ve been on the fence about buying it, don’t overthink it—just go for it. It’s easily one of the best purchases I’ve ever made.
