The item is easy to install and I like the wifi connectivity to notify me on humidity level and water level on tank( if no outlet is set) as I dpmt regularly go to basement. So far so good.

A great little dehumidifier I would recommend

We are very happy with our unit so far. I set it up quickly and connected it to our wifi network after downloading the app. The whole process was quick and went smoothly. I like that I can monitor the humidity level from my phone and adjust the humidity level or even power off/on the unit. If we ever finish our basement it will be nice to have the remote shutoff feature on my phone or using Alexa when I want it to be a bit quieter, but honestly, the unit is pretty quiet. We also use the continuous drain into our sump and it works well.

I’ve had this dehumidifier for about six weeks now and it continues to work great. I have it running constantly in my basement on the low fan setting and it measures the relative humidity in the room at a consistent 34%. I have the included drainage hose attached and a constant drip can be seen from the end of the hose and into the sink that is right next to the dehumidifier.

I can’t say i agree with the sq ft ratings on this one, but they say it’s best to buy one too big, than too little, and I was borderline, so I went with the one that minimally worked for my sq ft, and it just never seems to turn off. It doesn’t integrate with IFTTT either.

The compressor will shut off once the relative humidity is 5% lower than your desired setting. The fan will continue to run for up to 3 minutes to cool the motor and will then shut off.
