Cools great but cycles completely off in-between

Nice unit. Not too loud. Works great cooling and didn't take long to set up. I didn't give it 5 stars due to the following 3 reasons. 1. It didn't come with the slide part of the window attachment. Not a big deal for us as our window is small and didn't need it. 2. The parts list says it should have a couple of little screws, but it doesn't? Again quality control, not a bog deal. 3. And my main issue once the machine hits the desired room temp while pn the AC setting it cuts off, completely, no fan running or anything. Then once the air temp drops a degree the machine kicks back on, loudly which wakes me up with a jump every single time. Our bedroom only has the one window whicj is about 5 ft from my head so no other options. For this reason alone I may return it unless someone can tell me there is a majic way to keep it from doing that and it still be on the AC setting. If it wasn't for that i wpuld give it 5 stars.

Efficient and Easy to Install
GreyNinja Posted 5 years ago
Summer of humidity is blocked by this crisp, cool window unit. I did the research for energy efficiency, price, sound and coverage. Runs quiet! Fairly easy to install - moderate weight so I needed a partner to help secure it in the window. The shipping box is interesting - slides off. Overall a 5-star recommend. Don't live with an old clunky unity. This is on track to pay for itself the first summer.

Honeywell 350sq Portable Air Conditioner

Unit come's with extendable hose, adjustable window pane for hose, the remote is not so great as you have to directly point at the unit and half the time doesn't recognize input, I should have gone with the next model up as it supports Bluetooth phone app. The unit come's with all necessary peripherals to set up easily, it has a sleek design, it does cool it just take's about 5 minutes to get going, other than that it's a solid unit.

Functional and reasonably priced.

The complete kit! Everything needed to set up in your window and the unit itself works very well to cool my bedroom, plus the noise level is low for sleeping and the night time setting works well. I had some issues getting the hose to attach securely to the end pieces and not a problem with the unit itself but with the size of the windows in my 200 year old house, if I used both of the sliding metal pieces of the window insert the hole for the exhaust hose was covered. I used one piece and the foam and adhesive weatherstripping and was able to make it work. So be aware of the width of your windows.

Decent AC
DKNC Posted 5 years ago
Cools well, neat functions, minimal drainage/condensation. Could be a little stronger at cooking though (considering it’s size and energy consumption).
