I love this carpet cleaner (but I do hate cleaning carpets)! I bought this Hoover SmartWash+ since I have a 10 month-old baby that's beginning to crawl. The wife wanted to me to vacuum the high traffic carpet in our family room and I knew that was not going to cut it so I made this purchase. It is pretty simple to use this carpet cleaner. If you can vacuum your carpet then you can use this cleaner. I like the push-to-spray and pull-to-dry feature. No buttons to have to push to dispense water and cleaner. It truly is a smart carpet cleaner. It does as good of a job at cleaning the carpet as any carpet cleaning service and saves money in the long run. I can also clean my carpets when I'm ready to without scheduling issues. I actually got the carpet clean in an area that a professional cleaning service could not clean. The amount of dirt that was picked up shocked me (see photo). This machine is good! Pros: - The design is simple and just about like vacuuming a carpet. - Great value. It will pay for itself after cleaning a few of rooms in your home. - Due to the pull-to-dry feature the area you clean will be dry in about 45 min to an hour. No more 3 hour drying periods to walk through your home. - If you read the instructions it is pretty easy to disassemble and clean the cleaner. - The attachments make it easy to clean more than just the carpet. Cons: - The instruction manual doesn't mention it but the Water Tank and Solution Tank probably need to dry fully before putting away the cleaner to avoid mold build-up in either. I had to sit the two near a sunny window to promote evaporation of the water from the top openings. It would be nice if Hoover made it easier to dry these out for quicker storage. - You can only clean one room of about 17' x 17' on one full tank of water. (though I believe the cleaner would be difficult to use if the tank had a larger capacity.

Works REALLY WELL ! Even though on a survey it’s listed smack dab in the middle on scale of 1 - 10, it cleans like a BEAST! Light-weight. Auto wash forward - rinse/vacuum dry backing up; bristles did great too. Made an old carpet look new! The DRY button on the top seems to help dry the carpet faster than other units. It is super easy to put together, fill up, we chose the no mix solution, the 2 sections ( 1 clean water 1 dirty water) was easy to take apart to clean, The bristles were even easy to clean. Highly recommend! Best $$ we’ve paid for such a unit! I’d even recommend this to an enemy, if I had any!!!

This has got to be the best cleaner I have ever used, and easy to use. The automatic wash and dry buttons are great. I did a entire 1200ft home on wood floors and carpet and did the white glove test nothing left in carpets or floors. This was done in a few hours not all day!!! I have limitations on my neck and not once did I hurt. The water is spread out evenly and does not saturate in the carpet. Pressing the button to have a dry clean shows exactly all the water necessary to pull out of floor. Normally we would wait to walk on it, but not with this on wooden floors it’s drying in front of your sweeps. Love love love - better than those commercials you rent- and it’s in your closet in case of a unexpected stain or spill.

I have been using this vacuum cleaner for several months and the results have left me satisfied since I come from another brand which I used to wash but the folder does not finish, however in this case I like it because it washes and dries as I wash the carpet I hope this product It hurts a lot since it's been two months and it's still working without problems

I bought this after my old Hoover blew a belt and this had the best reviews of what was available in store and even online. I used it for the first time in my sons toy room as one of the dogs got into moldy raspberries (from the trash) and smeared them in the toy room (red streak in photo). We’ve lived in the house a month and it’s a highly used room other than our bedrooms. Even after the first swipe of using this it was pretty dry. The smart feature of just pushing it and the solution water mixture coming out is pretty awesome too. After I finished the entire room I used the dry only feature and it was pretty much dry after using it. I am definitely impressed and love this!
