The Hoover WindTunnel HEPA demonstrates above average suction for a vacuum using a bag. The unit is a little heavier than last couple bagless units we have owned, but seems to be put together very well and is easy to maneuver. To compensate for this extra weight, we leave the accessories off of the unit and in a storage area. We have also noted that this unit is close to half the level of motor and rotary brush noise of the last two bagless units that where very loud. Best Buy had a great price at the time of purchase! Very helpful employee in appliances that made the purchase enjoyable and easy.

I loved my old Hoover that was amazingly wonderful and lasted many years. But it was heavy. I tried a Dyson and HATED THE DYSON and the fact it didn't fit under furniture or beds, the round ball was a pain and it never even reached quite far enough under the kitchen cabinet edge. I also hated emptying the nasty bagless container. I threw the Dyson out and was angry I'd spent so much on it. I found this vacuum that has bag (I think it's healthier) and easily goes under furniture and beds, the way they store the extensions is genius, and very easy to push. I mostly like that it is very easy to carry up and down the stairs. It is such a pleasure to use, I vacuumed the entire house the day I got it! Who would ever say they liked vacuuming....! This definitely makes it less than a chore. I highly recommend it.

Easy to put together. Essentially just have to attach the handle. Long cord which is good. Good suction and adjusts to any height from hardwood flooring to our medium length carpet. A little noisier than our last vacuum, but sucks stuff up better, so I guess that is the trade off.

This is the best vacuum I've ever had. Only slight complaint was not realizing that it had a setting to stop the brush bar (for when going over a tile or hardwood floor)...but honestly it was my bad for not reading the instructions. Once I figured out i had to press on the lever it really went to town on the carpet.

Not an expensive vacuum, but after these first few months it still feels and cleans like an expensive model. It is lightweight, powerful suction on both carpet and bare floors, and pushes easily as long as you are on the right setting - if not, the suction is strong enough to make it a real chore to move across carpet. I'd like to see a bit longer cord and maybe an extra wand for the tool, but what we got for the price is far better than the fairly expensive SEARS model from a few years ago. I'll take this one over that model.

My wife and I find this vacuum to be far superior than our older bagless vacuum. It picks up cat hair really well and gets deep down. It's smooth and despite it's weight it moves very easily. It has all the features and bells and whistles as other high end models. The only thing it lacks is the ability to change it's roller height from the handle. However, you can alter it from the bottom. Not a big deal.

Sucks it all up with main unit and all attachments. Power cord and hose long enough to keep cleaning without repositioning main unit. Foot pedal adjustment to lay handle down to get under furniture very convenient. Red garnet is one of my favorite colors.

This replaced another vacuum that I had bought that was bagless. Even though the bagless was reviewed to reflect that it would work well with allergies, a family member emptied it in the house, which caused a reaction. The bag is definitely the way to go! This new vacuum did a great job on my carpets! Haven't had a chance to use the other equipment yet.

FIRST THING I DID WAS CHECK CONSUMERS REPORTS FOR THE NUMBER 1 VAC.IT SHOWED 2 MODELS. THIS UPRIGHT WAS #1.LIKED IT BECAUSE IT USES BAGS. THIS IS IMPORTANT BECAUSE I HAVE DUST ISSUES.BAGLESS MODELS LET THE DUST FLY EVERYWHERE WHEN DUMPING THEM.I'LL BU8Y THE BAGS TO CONTAIN THE MESS.IT'S CLEAN AND SIMPLY.PLUS WE HAVE CATS (2) AND IT GETS ALL THE HAIR ON THE FIRST PASS. GREAT MACHINE.

Love this vacuum ! The attachments are great. The cord is long enough to not have to change to another outlet every few feet.I love the material that the bag is made of.Seems to keep dust inside ..where it belongs ! Price was right !

The rating by Consumers fits as this is an awesome vacuum cleaner. Easy to use, with all attachments and a powerful vacuum with a great hepa filtration system. We don't mind using bags and this was on sale for less than 1/2 original price. We always go to Best Buy because they will match others in price and have a good selection of user reviews to learn about ins/outs before buying.

Lightweight but plastic. Excellent suction. Not thrilled with the attachments and tools. The telescopic wand does not lock into place, it unlocks while using it then collapses. Very annoying while you are working The brush attachment has a weird angle. I find it awkward along the baseboards. I am keeping it though because my 2 prior Eureka pet hair vacuums broke within 2yrs. The Eureka was a lot heavier. The Hoover is lighter and less tiring to use

After reading the reviews & this being the Deal of the Day, I couldn't resist purchasing it. I'm so glad that I did. I actually like vacuuming with this vacuum cleaner. It picks up everything so easily, and I love that it leaves the vacuum marks on my carpeting. The suction is exceptional. Best purchase I've made in a while!!

I bought this to replace a 15 year old vacuum and love it so far the attachments are a great bonus as I no longer need to carry the canister vacuum around as well.

Every good thing I read about this vacuum is true. Very pleased with this purchase.

This vacuum is almost perfect. The only negative is the weight. It's very heavy, and combined with the suction power it can be difficult to push across medium-to-long carpet. But it really cleans well, better than any of the bagless vacuums we have had before, including the Dysons.

After 6 years of dealing with bagless uprights spraying dust all over while cleaning and trying to empty their filters, we switched to this bagged upright. Even the air smells cleaner after vacuuming! We’ve done tons of deep cleaning in the last month since purchasing and are still on the same bag for a fairly large two bedroom apartment. All carpeting except for the kitchen. The only potential drawback is that this bad boy is heavy to carry and even push. For an elderly or weak person this might be a bad fit, but if you want to get all the crud up from your carpets and keep the dust particles from floating all over the house, this is a great choice!
