This is a great starter wheel, although I'm not entirely a beginner. I had a nice wheel with Xbox 360 years ago, but to my dismay, it was not compatible with Xbox One when I upgraded last year. This is my reentry into racing games, so it is much more fun than 'driving' with a controller. In my research, I wanted to make sure it was compatible with Xbox One and most NFS titles. Some disappointments, not necessarily HORI's fault: I thought it came with suction cups, although it looks like it has holes underneath for them; it does not have vibration. At this price point you'd think it would include some vibration; the clamping system is a bit kludgy. The wheel stand I chose to buy did not list HORI, but I thought I could use the clamping system as described on HORI's product page, but as you can see, I had to improvise. And it would have been nice if the wheel and pedals had a few pre-tapped template patterns so it can bolt to a wheel stand. I assume it uses a kind of bungee system to return to center which is OK but it kind of snaps back a little too hard if you let go. The pedals are passable, they work OK. No accessory shifter with this unit, but I knew that. If shifting is important to you, move on to something else. Best Buy's price was excellent and so far, it's been fun.

Excellent product If you are looking to elevate your racing experience in games like Forza Motorsport, F1 23, or Assetto Corsa without breaking the bank, the HORI Racing Wheel Overdrive is an excellent choice. After testing it on my Xbox Series X, here is my detailed breakdown:  1. Build Quality & Design Despite being an entry-level wheel, it doesn't feel like a toy. It is a full-size racing wheel with a sturdy build. The rubberized grips provide great handling during intense turns, and the paddle shifters have a satisfying, tactile click. The clamping system is also surprisingly robust, keeping the wheel secure on my desk even during aggressive maneuvers.  2. Customization (The Best Feature) What sets this wheel apart is the companion app. You can program buttons, adjust dead zones, and even change the turn ratio from 270 degrees to 180 degrees on the fly. This flexibility is great for switching between realistic simulators and arcade-style racers like Need for Speed.  3. Pedals The foot pedals are large and stable. While they are made of plastic, they feel responsive. I particularly liked that you can adjust the pedal sensitivity to match your driving style, which helps a lot with braking precision.  4. Performance The steering is precise and offers a much more immersive feel than a standard controller. However, it is important to note that this wheel does not have Force Feedback (FFB). It uses a bungee-cord return system, so while you get resistance when turning, you won’t feel the bumps in the road or the loss of traction like you would on more expensive models (like the Logitech G923).

Works well for the price and adds a fun element to racing games that a controller just cant replicate, def not as good or fine tune-able as some of the more expensive ones though but for the cost its great

My son loves this driving wheel. He feels like he is really in a car. I even like to play on it.

As this is my sons first wheel, we had a little bit of a hard time with his game and the steering being accurate. Not sure if it was the game itself or the wheel but when we tried to turn the wheel is almost turned all the way before the car actually moved. We tried our best to change the settings which helped a little bit but for his first wheel he still really likes it and looking into other racing games where he can use this.

The wheel has a pretty large deadzone that can be adjusted. But, even maxing iut the settings you still have a pretty big area that doesnt register turns

Good if you just want try it out. Not good for long term use due to no haptic feedback
