I have several HOTO products and you can always tell it's a quality brand with quality products. This flashlight is bright and was great at my last camping trip. I really like the diffusing cone to use it like a lantern, and the clip works great for hanging it in a tent. I look forward to expanding my HOTO collection of tools and gadgets!

Powerful flashlight which can be used in many different settings. I love the loop which opens so that it can be hung from above on a variety of settings. The diffuser connection allows for light in a general setting. The sliding focus gives a wide span of usage. The different levels of brightness will allow me to adjust it to what I need. Built-in rechargeable battery is convenient.

Flashlight works great illumination wise, but as the other 1 star reviews have stated, the battery drains quite fast when not in use. In my experience, it needs to be charged about every month. Maybe some units just have low quality batteries? The aluminum construction is nice and sturdy and is the reason I bought it on sale for $35. I'd say buy it on sale, but I also did not do extensive research on flashlights, so maybe there are other similar options out there that don't have battery issues.
