  • Features
    • Hard Food Disposer: true (This feature has blades to chop and disintegrate hard food particles, making them small enough to easily drain away. This prevents them from being recirculated back onto dishware and allows for easy maintenance.)
    • Drying Method: Heated drying (Appliances that use heat to dry the dishes will include a heating element or minerals which transform moisture into heat. A fan or vent then circulates the hot dry air throughout the tub during the drying cycle. This may reduce drying time and the risk of water spots. Appliances that use minerals to produce heat are considered more energy efficient than those that include a heating element. Appliances that use condensation drying are considered more energy efficient than those that use heated drying. Instead, high temperature water is produced during the final rinse cycle which warms the interior and eventually condensates and drains out of the machine.)

Q: I have a brand new dishwasher, I know the water works as it gets wet inside, but, the soap dispenser isn't opening. The green lights flash off and on so I'm not sure if that means it's done? This is the second one that's been stalled. New ones lol

A: I have same experience, but this sometimes happens to other brands and models too. So, I am not particularly complaining about it, but this machine has no controls other than heavy/normal wash.... It is very surprisingly disappointing.

Q: My dishwasher isn’t drying my dishes and I’ve tried all 3 cycles… what am I doing wrong?

A: There are several possible causes to why your dishes are not completely dry after a cycle. Please review the section titled: "Dishes Don't Dry" on page 20 of the Owner's Manual for suggestions on what to do in this situation. If this information doesn't prove helpful, we recommend scheduling a service appointment for one of our qualified technicians to assess your dishwasher. You can schedule an appointment by calling us at: 1-800-432-2737.

Q: HOW DO I SELECT A CYCLE? IN PARTICULAR THE HEAVY WASH

A: Hi - Thank you for reaching out to us. To select the Heavy cycle, press and hold the Start pad for 3 seconds to change the cycle. A green light under the words Heavy Cycle will light up to let you know it has been selected. We hope this is helpful. Please contact us again if you have additional questions or concerns. Kind regards - Vikki@Hotpoint

Q: Does this have a matte black or a shiny black finish?

A: Hey there, Thank you for reaching out. This model dishwasher is only available in the standard black color. We hope this helps. Reach out if you have more questions. Mike@GEA

Q: What is 60Bda?

A: Hi there! When it comes to dishwashers, the dBA is the decibel rating for the loudness of the unit. The lower this rating is, the quieter the dishwasher will be. This dishwasher has a rating of 60, which is similar to moderate rainfall. We hope this is helpful! Have a wonderful day. -Gina@Hotpoint

Q: we just installed this dishwasher but theres no manul and no writing on the control panel so we cant figure out hoe to use it ?????

A: Very basic control. One touch start button. To get heavy wash hold start button until heavy wash circle lights up. To cancel open door to stop then hold start button for 3 seconds and close door.

Q: My apartment installed this dishwasher and my dishes are coming out WET!!!! And the dish washer runs a LONG time! I can’t select an option because it’s just one button. And I didn’t get a manual either.

A: Not answering the question but my apartment installed the same dishwasher. I HATE it! My dishes are always wet, maybe make a 2 stop button dishwasher with an option to DRY them dishes. SMH.

Q: Where is the button to turn on the heat to dry the dishes?

A: Hi - Thank you for reaching out to us. The Heavy and Everyday cycles on this dishwasher incorporate a dry period at the end of the wash cycle automatically. There isn't a separate button to push for heated dry. We hope this is helpful. Kind regards - Vikki@GEAppliances

    Do NOT Buy

Geek Squad had to come out and practically rebuild the darn thing!

    Great economic option

The dishwasher is definitely on the economic side, but it gets the job done. It has no modes just one button. For the price, it was worth the buy.

    2x defective dishwasher

Purchased this for a rental property, and at installation discovered that there was something defecting with the handle / closing mechanism, which would cause the dishwasher to stop running. Purchased an identical replacement and had the same defect.
