Excellent Lens Protection
I bought this to protect the expensive camera lens glass form dust and the elements and it has served very well so far. Easy to install, it protects the lens nicely and doesn't interfere with the quality of the pictures.

A must have for expensive lenses
I use these as lens protectors because I do a lot of adventure travel with my Nikon DSLR --and have been known to fall on hiking trails! I fell down a flight of monastery steps last year with my $1700 lens with this on, and believe it added extra protection. No issues with fit or with condensation under the lens filter.

Lens Protection
When you are buying expensive lenses a high quality UV filter should automatically be apart of that purchase. I love the peace of mind knowing the filter will also help protect the main lens as well.
