Customer Ratings & Reviews

Its easy to use great for what im using it for which is for my college classes and looking for a job it has everything i need i love the touchscreen feature it makes it so much easier to select items or apps when im looking for something the battery could last a little longer but thats one thing you have to deal wit when the laptop is lightweight and portable but i charges quickly and the picture quality is great for when i am looking at movies and things online i am happy with my purchase

Honestly didn’t expect to like this laptop this much. It’s fast right out of the box—handles multiple tabs, Zoom, and work apps without slowing down. The touchscreen is a nice bonus and actually makes it easier to use day to day. Battery life holds up well, and it starts up super quick thanks to the SSD. Perfect if you need something reliable for work or school without overthinking it.

I love this HP laptop! It was very affordable and performs better than I expected. It’s fast, easy to use, and perfect for work and daily tasks. Great quality for a great price—highly recommend.

I recently bought an HP laptop at Best Buy and the whole experience was great. The staff helped me find the right model for my needs and explained everything clearly. The laptop runs fast, has a clean display, and handles all my daily tasks without any issues. Setup was easy, and so far the performance has been smooth. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend Best Buy for anyone looking for a reliable laptop and good customer service.

i got this to replace my mom's 10 year old laptop. she prefers HP and pretty much only pays bills, surfs the web, looks at pictures, social media, etc. No heavy processing or video editing. I'd say the computer is fine for day to day things or office stuff. not too expensive to worry about but not too cheap to be a toy. It's the sweet spot for her needs.

Love this laptop! Set up was a breeze and it runs so smoothly. The design is beautiful!

I normally use Dell and for hp it’s a different experience.so far so good

I really like this multifaceted laptoo. Have many potentials. Highly recommended.

and then it would not boot up. Power button would flash when pressed, a pop of air would sound inside the laptop…and then nothing. First time I have ever had a computer fail on me within the first year of ownership. It was still under warranty of course. HP Repairs process was pretty straightforward. After sending laptop in I was back up and running in about 8-10 days. Replaced a part or two. It’s been about a month and no problems. HP Service and Repair was much easier to deal with than Best Buy Geek Squad.

16GB is fast enough to connect to work. Nice laptop and great deal

So, this one runs the program I want it to, but only barely.. So not what I was looking for, and not what it claimed to be able to handle. Also, the laptop is a little flimsy, if its open and i grab the keyboard part to pick it up it feels like its bending, that's not pleasant. It does all the basic stuff... the touchscreen is not the greatest touchscreen ive had but works most the time the way I want it to. If ur looking for something cheap that does the basics, it does that, but if ur looking to do something a little more and have something a little sturdy, Id suggest a step up. I would've got a step up had I read my own review before I got it. :)

An excellent Laptop, in features, quality and price-value!!!

i love it, my driver was also nice and respectful.

This HP 15.6" Full HD Touch-Screen Laptop (Model: 15-dy5055nr) strikes a strong balance between performance, usability, and value. Powered by a 12th Gen Intel Core i5-1235U processor and equipped with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD, it handles multitasking, productivity apps, and light creative work with ease. The 10-core CPU (2 performance cores and 8 efficiency cores) ensures smooth responsiveness whether you're streaming, editing documents, or managing multiple browser tabs. The 15.6-inch Full HD touch display is a standout feature, offering crisp visuals and intuitive navigation. While the screen is bright and responsive, it’s not the most color-accurate for professional photo or video editing. Still, for general use, it’s more than sufficient. Design-wise, the laptop sports a sleek Natural Silver finish and a relatively slim profile, making it portable enough for commuting or campus life. The full-size keyboard features a numeric keypad, which is particularly beneficial for data entry tasks. Battery life is decent, typically lasting around 7–9 hours depending on usage, and fast charging support helps top it up quickly. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, USB-C, HDMI, and multiple USB-A ports, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of peripheral. Overall, this HP laptop is a well-rounded midrange option for users who need dependable performance, ample storage, and a responsive touchscreen without breaking the bank. It’s especially well-suited for students, remote workers, and casual users who value speed and screen real estate.

Great computer for not much money. I am using this for general home use (online shopping, light Google sheets and docs, etc.) and it has worked really well so far. I do not game so I can't comment on that. But general use it is great, plenty fast and a good amount of storage. It also feels sturdier than some other lower end laptops I have had. The keyboard is really smooth to use too.

Great laptop at an amazing price and loaded with everything you need. This was a gift for my wife now that she is in school and she has plenty of storage on the SSD, fast processor, touch screen and amazing sound.

It’s a great laptop for work. I also love that it’s touch screen and has a big screen. It’s very light weight

This laptop delivers excellent performance for everyday tasks and light gaming. The 13th Gen Intel i5 processor and 16GB RAM make multitasking smooth, while the 512GB SSD ensures fast boot times. The 15.6-inch IPS display is bright and clear. Battery life is decent, and the build feels sturdy and modern.

I just starting using my new laptop about a week ago so I can't review the longevity of it, but I can say that the battery life has not been good. I do like the size and feel of the keys and the screen is a decent size as well. It is light weight so that makes carrying it easy.

Laptop works as expected. Large, touch screen allows for easy view with an alternate navigation tool other than keyboard. Only change I would make is to darker keyboard letters, symbols and numbers a little for contrast. Very satisfied
