My needs were met with this computer. It is very easy to use and was an affordable price. While this would never be good enough for a gamer, it is a very nice addition for when I travel to do my reports on and to browse the internet.

Easy to operate computerVery fast I would recommend this computer to anyone that never has used computer or someone that doesn’t really know much about them and even has an Automated set up I don’t really like the voice is kind of annoying but nevertheless it’s all automated very simple fast and for the price you can’t beat it

I've been looking for a backup laptop for several months. I wasn't wanting to spend a lot since I regularly use my desktop computer. I happened to see this and several others on display. This had the storage I was wanting and the screen size, but fell a bit short on the ram. I guess I really didn't need all that speed as long as it was faster than counting tiles.For the price I think I got a good deal. It came with Windows 10, not the most recent version but thats not hard to update. I do wish that I had purchased Office 365 while I was there. I thought I could find a better price, but so far I haven't. All in all I'm satisfied with my purchase and I didn't break my bank account getting it. I trust HP and their products.

I purchased this for work purposes. Have 1tb of storage. Prior to this laptop I had an HP stream and no space for the same price. This runs very well but it's a bit slow when switching apps and programs. It has bells and whistles I haven't explored and probably won't as it is for work. I have a gaming rig at home and my apps and programs run much faster. I don't know if this can handle gaming but I haven't tried because I don't have that much faith in it. Overall. Really great for the price and it works well. Battery lasts all day and then some.

This has been a good little laptop for what I use it for which is for field tech work. The only thing that I did not like about it is that the additional software HP pre-installs created a few small problems in the beginning. Once I uninstalled the HP junk software, this became a much more usable laptop. The speed is decent for running most things like Office and web browsers. I would not play games on this laptop, but again that is not what I bought it for. It fits nicely in my backpack and doesn't weigh a whole lot which is an added bonus. Sufficient amount of USB ports and the fact that this does still have a DVD drive has come in handy a few times as well.

I just blew the last 24 hours trying to get this laptop optimized for general use. I don't game. My expectations were to be able to receive email and to surf web pages. I anticipated I would probably need to upgrade the 4MB ram to 8 or 16, but, I'm not sure anything can help this beast. Occasionally it will dip to a reasonable CPU, but in general it sits about 85%+ when any explorer is launched. Even after uninstalling just about every process that eats CPU, memory and disk, it's still unusable and slow. Perhaps this product is best suited for someone who rarely connects to the internet such as a poet or someone's grandma looking for a better display for playing baccarat. I'm holding out hope that perhaps it was dropped at some point while being delivered to the store and there is inherently an issue with the hardware, but I'm not taking my risk on another "deal" - when I croak I will remember how I could have had an extra day of my life back if not for this laptop.

My father was looking for a basic system to check email, surf the web, and play games. If you're looking for that, this is the computer you want! Pros *Excellent battery life. *Surprisingly responsive. Cons *It ONLY works after you remove the bloatware! If you know how to get rid of all the garbage that comes pre-installed, you'll find a decent little system underneath all the garbage. If you don't know how to remove bloatware, you may want to stay away because it's very non-functional with all the stuff trying to run in the background!

This computer is pre-loaded with a lot of Bloatware. It took me a while just to get it functioning at a regular level. It's a slow computer, but that's to be expected with a smaller processor. I don't use it for anything processing intensive, so it's still good for what I need. Lots of storage for my digital pictures, which is nice.

Good overall computer. Not for fast graphics though. For everyday computing, it's fine. Video is good but again graphics are not the best. Problem was my hard drive went out. Make sure you backup. Price is good for this computer. For the price I would suggest it to a friend. But not if your looking for speed. It's no speedster by any means.

I purchased this laptop knowing of its minimal performance as a back up to my Dell Desktop computer. My desktop crashed due to a corrupt boot up. For the money spent ($249.00} on sale at BB, I find it as expected from other reviews that it's SLOW to the finish line. For that kind of money what would you really expect? This is no sports car. Still a good computer for what it is worth.

I’m using this for email, web searchs. Not real quick, but as expected due to processor and ram. HD is of good size, not like those small ssds. Light weight. Decent screen. Win10 better than win8. For what it does it is good, not great. But also not expensive.

The HP 15.6" laptop is a good little device for basic usage. Even though it has a 1TB hard drive it's speed is greatly hindered by the 4 GB of memory. It is a very lightweight machine and serves its purpose for working email and some other basic functions.

This laptop has a large hard drive however it only has basic apps it does not have a upgraded processor or upgraded gaming tools for it so if you're just in school or in college this will be a laptop for the money to buy

I needed a cheap computer to replace one I used for streaming that died. I also wanted one with a hard drive. This one fit the bill. I would have liked it to be a little faster but what would you expect at this low price

After a recent move to temporary housing, my laptop came up missing. There was so much info on there, but not so important it couldn’t be replaced. I had so much planned to do on my laptop. I enjoyed being able to do simple tasks in my room without having to rush to my desktop. This is an opportunity for a new beginning; a restart. HP had never failed me yet & easy to navigate.
