I was searching for a replacement laptop but didn’t want to break the bank buying a new one. I came across this deal and figured it had to be too good to be true. I’m so glad that I waited and purchased this laptop instead of spending a few more hundred dollars. This laptop is best deal money could buy.

It shut off and turned back on within seconds while I was doing something. It is now stuck on a blue screen that says Automatic Repair. Your PC did not start correctly. It shouldn't have even shut off. It was charged and only 1 program had been downloaded to it.

Pros: I like the 3 USB ports, number keypad and internal CD/DVD drive. most other brands that I looked at only have 2 USB plugs. I enjoy the raised keys also, it makes typing a little easier. The amount of storage space is great. It does move slowly sometimes when I have PowerPoint and another program running at the same time (both desktop programs not an Internet issue), not at all what I expected from this type of processing power, but given the price I'm not complaining. I haven't figured out all of the ins and outs yet, but so far so good. Con: I don't like so many plugins crammed into the same space, sometimes it is difficult to unplug 1 cord without disturbing the others. I'm concerned that over time that will cause unnecessary wear and tear on the cords and plugs (we shall see).

We were looking for a replacement for my wife's aging Chromebook, and were looking at other Chromes in-store when we saw this computer. For only a few dollars more, this machine is far superior to any of the other options! Great for checking e-mail, surfing the web, working on Windows applications, etc. Doesn't replace my heavy-duty laptop for running business software like AutoCAD or finite-element analysis but, then, that's not why we bought this.

I was on a limited budget and wanted a very lightweight laptop just to use for college. This is perfect. It isn't a gaming or performance PC for running elaborate software suites, but if you are looking for something to use Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and textbook publisher labs, then this is perfect. I have not noticed any problems with speed or performance. It could've been a bit cheaper for what it is and I loathe Windows 10, but I am happy with it for its purpose.

It's a decent laptop for the price. I like how it has a disc drive, which is seemingly uncommon for new laptops nowadays. The 1TB storage capacity is great too, seeing as I can download many games no matter how much memory they take up. Like some reviewers, the laptop does run a little slow on occasion, but other than that, it's a great value for what you need

Overall it is a decent sized laptop. There is ample amount of storage with the 1TB drive. And it does have the benefit of still having a built in burner, which comes in handy from time to time. That’s about as many pros as I can think of, now for the list of cons which is quite a bit longer. Only having 4GB of memory leads to slow start up times, longer processing periods and the occasional pause of two in the middle of a YouTube video when trying to locate another video in a second window. Also don’t expect much from the built in webcam. It comes with Windows 10S which I found myself not being able to download any of the programs or apps that I needed to in order to be able to work. Thus it was only a matter of a week or two before I found myself switching from the S version. This is the first AMD powered computer I have owned therefore I’m not sure if this has played a large part in most of the issues I have experienced, and I probably will not look into buying another in the future.

I bought this laptop for the built in DVD, and to use for twittering, basically. It's very lightweight and nice-looking, even sharp. It has a number keypad and is an easy keyboard to blow toast crumbs off. That's important to me. It shows an ever-changing picture of some the world's most exotic scenery each time I sign in. It's not lightening fast, I guess, but I wasn't looking for or needing that. DVD's played perfectly and I believe you can record on them, too. Price was important to me, and it was only $250, which is the least expensive laptop I have ever bought. Would buy again.

I am very happy with this computer. I bought this computer for a high school student and she seems to be very happy with it. Although, its speed is somehow limited, but it fine for her at this stage of her education. May be in the future I will upgrade it for her a bit, but for now for the price I paid for it is very good and she seems to be very happy.

I spilled coffee on my old laptop and was devastated. Ordered this HP online and picked it up at the store in minutes. It works very well for my needs. The price was fantastic. My only complaint is that it does run a bit slow at times.

I bought this for my wife who just surfs the net & pays bills so I really didn't need a really expensive laptop. The one we were replacing was really slow but this one doesn't really run circles around it. The Windows 10-s mode was quickly replaced with Windows 10 Home because I really didn't feel the need to have to go through Microsoft for everything & was able to do that really easy at no extra charge. When I Bought this I couldn't seem to get a straight answer on this as the salesman knew nothing about this but after reading enough about it online I was able to get rid of the 10-s & still seems to run okay.

I paid around $226.00 plus sales tax and I think it was a good deal. The unit works really good and I like the HP brand. The only questionable part of the purchase was the 4mb of RAM. It's a little slow, but hey, I liked the price. I tweaked the virtual memory a little and that seemed to speed things up a little. I don't think this would work for a gamer, but for general and overall use, this machine works really good.

Great laptop for school and games, particularly Sims. My granddaughter loves Sims and knowing this laptop was capable of that, made it a winner. As well as the 1T hard drive. Could have at least had 8 my memory instead of 4. All in all, nice laptop.

Loved the price and most of the options. But too slow... Got real laggy with just a few windows open. Fine for just surfing or watching a DVD. Took it back and bought something with more ram...
