Had to recently retire my old HP printer and purchased a new OfficeJet Pro 6978. This is the first time I had to buy ink. I hope the XL cartridges last a bit longer than the ones that came with the printer. Also, BB.com didn't have the Magenta in stock when I ordered. Still doesn't which is starting to concern me. I don't want to have a printer I can't find ink for.

we bought the HP Printer at Best Buy and decided to try out the individual color XL-cartridges so we don't have to replace all 3 colors at once each time. so far the cartridges have proven to last longer and thus be more price-friendly than the regular ones. we would definitely recommend these XL-cartridges if you use the printer a lot.

The only cartridge that fits this printer xl lasts much longer than regular and Best Buy has comparable prices and free shipping.

Works fine, lasts for a lot of print jobs. Not sure if it's better than other yellow ink - this is what I need for my printer.

It's a genuine HP cartridge. I've never had any issues with any of them and this is no exception. Love the XL size.
