When I purchased this PC tower it was new to the market and there were no reviews, but I purchased it because I liked the specifications for the price. I already had my Windows 7 withdrawals and so all the annoying things related to Windows 10 were expected. I prefer Chrome to Edge, but Windows 10 kept trying to switch me to Edge every chance it got. This PC is fast, but not noticeably faster than my 10 year old HP Pavillion - once it loads up. The SSD card makes a huge difference in start up time. Everything is loaded and ready to go as soon as the monitor turns on. The other reason for the purchase was the lack of ports on my old PC. A monitor I purchased a few months ago required an HDMI port (which I didn't have) and I couldn't get any of the HDMI/USB adaptors I purchased to work. So in that respect, I'm pleased with the PC. However, I've had an issue from day one that is going to make me return this one for a different model. If I have something up on the screen when the monitor goes to sleep, the screen is frozen when the monitor wakes up. I have to click off into another tab or app and click back to unfreeze it. If I just let it sit, it will sometimes become responsive in 2 - 5 minutes. It took me a week of troubleshooting to verify and pinpoint the issue and rule out the mouse, monitor, keyboard, etc. I contacted HP who said it was a Windows 10 issue. After working with Windows 10 support for 2 hours their only solution was to wipe out Windows 10 and reinstall it. There are still no other reviews for this product so I don't know if my situation is unique or if it is problem with this model. I'm not convinced that reinstalling Windows 10 will solve the problem. I will say, however, that the Best Buy staff were very helpful. I explained my problem to them and was assured that there will not be any problem exchanging, trading or returning.

Recently had problems with an aging laptop. I decided to go back to a desktop and decided on this model. It's half the storage that I had on the laptop but it is a solid state hard drive and very responsive. I'm extremely happy with this. I do have a 6 TB external hard drive that I use to back up my photography so storage really isn't an issue. I definitely would recommend!!!

This computer is working very good in all the programs that I have used. Quality workmanship and performance. Also I like having the optical drive.

Boots up pretty fast but tower is really lightweight and when you try to put in a dvd or cd the door is really flimsy and hard to press it on.

Great Computer...only "issue" is no sound (no internal speaker), so you need to purchase external speakers for sound.

My old desktop started out Windows 7. Once Windows 10 was forced onto it, it REALLY slowed down. This one has a solid state memory which is VERY fast. It boots up quickly and unlike my old computer, it takes advantage of my 300 internet and web pages load instantly.

as long as you take care of it it will get the job done for years to come

I got this for my parents who arent young anymore and specifically got this model because the specs said it came with Windows 10 (wanted to keep it simple for them- they are used to it) but sadly it also came with the new Windows 11..annoying but so far its lightning fast compared with what they had and im sure theyll get used to it. Just an FYI for anyone trying to keep Windows 10, this wont have it.

If I could give this computer zero stars, I would. Few months after I purchased it, it started giving me many different problems. Less than 18 months, it totally crashed. $1,600.00 down the drain as I had Geek Squad over to copy old data to new. Never, ever again with HP.

Best inexpensive computer tower. I have this hooked up to my tv using the built in hdmi which is convenient. Runs fast and smooth using windows 10. Strongly recommend. Im using this to play game emulators from the 90’s. I love that the processor is AMD Ryzen because when connected to my Vizio automatically detects this software and upscales the quality.
