Q: what is better, a 256GB SSD or a 1TB hard drive?
A: 1Tb has about 4x the storage capacity but a ssd drive is about 5x faster than a HDD (standard hard disk). It makes a huge difference to have an ssd drive. We used to recommend adding ram to speed up your computer but the SSD drive is the best way to do it now. If you hate waiting for your computer to boot up in Minutes and programs taking 30 seconds to open then you definitely want the SSD. You can always add an external hard drive for extra storage. With a SSD drive your computer can boot up in 30 seconds (give or take), programs launch almost instantly, and in general makes your PC much more usable than previously was possible.
Q: Can I put a HD in this computer. Does it have the power and data cable inside to use?
A: It has an extra sata connector and a bay for an extra 3.5 hard drive. I just added a 4tb western digital hard drive to mine. Hope this helps.
A: My son uses this to play Fortnite. He's running 1920x1080 with 3D set to 100% and he's getting 60-80fps. The Ryzen 5 3400G with integrated Vega 11 graphics is very impressive. I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see it myself.
Q: Can I add a GeForce GTX 1050 TI 4GB graphics processor on this board?
A: Keep in mind you cant just replace the power supply. You have to spend 200 bucks for a really crappy power supply from HP. No other power supplies will work. It is a straight up rip-off.

A: This desktop was just released within the last month. This desktop was made for Best Buy only, which is why you will not find it on HP's website.

A: Yes, but you will have to remove the installed SSD and use that same slot for your Samsung 970 EVO SSD.
