This HP 13.3'' laptop is honestly the best laptop that I have ever owned. I got this on sale for $799.99, so it was one of the best deals that I have come across at Best Buy. First of all, the Envy is extremely light, 2.82 pounds per the specs on Best Buy's website. I can easily take it on the go to the library or when traveling. Another great feature are the Intel Iris Plus Graphics, which make photos and videos pop on the 4K display. The brightness is also 400 nits, so pretty bright, and I didn't need to change any settings to get the best colors. The backlit keyboard is also nice, and you can change the brightness to high, low, or off by pressing the F5 key. There is also a webcam kill switch on the right side, which I have tested by opening the camera app. It really works and prevents potential spying. I really like the fingerprint reader as well, which is located below the directional keys towards the bottom right. You can teach Windows Hello to learn different fingers to easily sign in. Next, the Wi-fi 6 adapter is amazing, and I wouldn't go back. I have seamlessly streamed 4K videos on YouTube and Netflix. Some downsides include not having an HDMI port, but I overcame this by buying a cheap USB-C to HDMI adapter on Amazon, and I haven't had any issues with connectivity to my monitor. I am not sure if the USB-C port is Thunderbolt 3 or not because HP's website doesn't mention it, but there is a lightning bolt icon next to the port on the left side. Lastly, this Ultrabook only has 8 GB of RAM which is soldered on the motherboard. But I rarely game on PC, so 8 GB is enough for me. Overall, I highly recommend this laptop. It has similar specs to the high-end HP Spectre series, but it is much more affordable.

Is a great laptop with a small and light body. The only reason im not giving 5 stars is that so far the HP SPen01 has not worked, still trying to figure out if it is a compability issue or a software problem as the touchscreen works fine with finger.

Love our HP Envy Laptop -- i7, fast, light, big SSD, great screen -- what's not to like. HP did a great job. And Best Buy did a superb job getting it to us in trying times. I had first purchased a Surface Pro 7 from a vendor I used for volume purchases of workstations, CDW. Clicked on their page, got an order confirmation, they even checked out my credit card. For a great price (similar to the one I got from Best Buy for my Surface Pro 6 a year ago). They decided it was too good a deal, so they sleazed out by ignoring. So I went to MY Best Buy when I saw an ad for the HP Envy and a recommendation -- at a discount. I took too long and after midnight the discount went away. Called up, got a super person on the phone, who instantly restored the previous day's discount and placed the order in nanoseconds! Yes, I am very pleased with our Envy -- it enables work from home and connection to the office, Of course, Best Buy is going to make sure I get the best price -- they ALWAYS do. But the reason I buy for work or home from them as often as I can is the integrity -- and the fact that, except for this stupid virus shutdown, I can walk in, put my hands on, and walk out with an up to date product NOW!

A little hot for the lap after 20 minutes. Fan is at the bottom. But if you put it on the desk, perfect size for traveling.

I just received this laptop and it think it is alright. I bought this laptop for college and I will say that the keyboard is really easy and nice to type on. The 4K screen is also nice and the sound is amazing. One of my worst things to note yet, is the sharpness of the sides and hinge. It is not comfortable at all on a lap and has already left marks/scratches on my legs. Another thing to note. is the speed that the fan turns on. I've been using and setting up the laptop and the fan has already turned on twice. It is pretty quiet and cools down quickly but it is noticeable at times. A positive that I can say, is that despite all the reviews I've seen that the fingerprint reader doesn't work but it has worked flawlessly for me.

I received my order 2 days ago and I liked it. The built quality is top notch, no crackling sound or flimsy feel to it. I wish the screen size is more bigger to more appreciate and enjoy it's 4K display, but with the price value (got it on sale) you can't really beat it. Everything was smooth and responsive from the track pad to keyboard and display, sound quality was awesome too. Everything about this laptop was solid and I could have given this 5 star rating except the RAM is soldered in but 8gb of RAM was enough to watch videos online and browse the web without lags.

This laptop is fast which can handle multiple tasks like browsing, playing youtube, running microsoft excel, opening multiple browsers, etc... It has a very nice resolution especially it can play 4K videos. It was able to play games like Dota2 without lagging. Sound quality is not that good for me but with a 13 inches laptop it’s good enough. Some cons that I may consider is the screen Size as is not that large so if you plan to work from home using this laptop, you may still need to purchase an external monitor for a larger view. I just ended up returning the product as my employer would require a larger screen size. If they can only accept it then I would definitely keep it. Excellent product.
I've recently just bought this laptop. It has great quality and works fast and well. I love mostly everything about this laptop. However, my only con with this device is that the battery life is not lengthy at all. I'm not sure if it's the laptop itself or the charger. One day I timed to see how long it would take for the battery percentage to get low. Starting at full charge, it took 4 hours and 14 minutes until the percentage was on 22%. For the price that I paid, I expect a much longer lasting charge. This needs to be fixed.

I love the size and weight, it is really confortable to move or transport. The weight and noise are really low. I am getting used to the touch screen, which is wonderful. The look is very stylish. I like it!

Fast and light. Coming from a 12" macbook, this thing flies. Supports USB-C charging so I can leave the power brick at home. Battery could be better but that's the trade off for the great screen.

Truthfully honest I love it. Needed a new laptop and it was a good price wise investment. Pretty quick and cool features. I like how it still has a USB drive for my files.

I'm amazed at this product! My old HP laptop is 4 or 5 years old and I wanted a new one. The graphics are amazing and it's so easy to use. I like the 3 different levels of keyboard lights: bright, kind of bright and off. So far it exceeds my expectations!

Quick and snappy performance. The display is crisp and the battery is pretty decent. The only issue I have encountered is that sometimes the speakers crackle. It gets pretty loud and noticeable but it usually goes away after a restart. I also wish the trackpad was a bit less sensitive. Other than these things, the laptop is very good for basic tasks.

Mainly only bought this because it was on a huge sale (dropped to $699 at one point on bestbuy). I would say this laptop is worth it at that cost, but probably not at its retail cost of $999. Amazing features of this laptop: beautiful 4K screen, small and lightweight, webcam off button, good keyboard, great speakers, fingerprint ID scanner, lightning fast SSD and boot times Wasn't thrilled with: the clicking part of the touchpad....its a little stiff for my liking and took some time to get used to. I guess my previous laptop had a smoother click button than most. Also, some would argue a 4K screen on a 13" laptop is useless as you can't really maximize the pixels. This is likely true, but it is still a beautiful screen. Also, within 2 weeks of purchase I had to open a support case with HP because the thing would not boot. I tried multiple things, but in the end the problem apparently was "static inside of the motherboard". HP was helpful and figured out the problem quickly, but this was annoying and I am not sure that it won't happen again. They say it is a common issue with any PC. The fix for it was something like hold down the power button + F6 for 30 seconds to drain the static out of the PC.
