This was a great buy. Compact, powerful laptop that is my go-to computer. Almost two years on, the battery still holds a charge for almost 8 hours. Wish it had a SD card slot for pics from my SLR.

Do NOT Buy I purchased this laptop in November 2021. 8 months of very light usage later, one day i opened the laptop and the right hinge popped clean off and shattered. I thought maybe i did something wrong (yes i told myself i "opened" a laptop wrong) and continued using it. Today, less than 2 years from my intial purchase, the second hinge also popped off, now leaving a barely attached screen. At this point, i knew this had to be a design issue, googled, and sure enough, on the hp forums there are dozens of threads and literally hundreds of replies with this same exact issue - HP skimped on cost by using some cheap plastic bond for the hinge and it predictably fails. Cant believe i paid eight hundred for this budget quality. avoid this at whatever price.

Amazing product Pro’s: Amazing Screen viewing with touch screen capabilities. Able to play 4K. Easy to setup. Can play pc games on medium graphics. It does have two usb ports, one usb c port Which I like. Simple laptop and easy to use. Light weight Con’s not enough USB ports. Ports Doesn’t have Ethernet or hdmi. You have to be careful with the USB ports and not force it in or you will break it

The laptop itself has been great. Nice color and detail to the graphics, great speed, light and transportable. Only problem with this hybrid laptop/tablet is the faulty hinges. The right side popped out of the screen while opening one day. Now it’s going to be $120 or more just for the same faulty part. I’ll replace it myself to save a few $. Otherwise, it still works great!

I use this computer for college and always hear other students complaining that they can't complete their assignments due to the software, mac book is not a great option. Trust me HP is the best for school, work, or anything.

Laptop works pretty great. I bought it about 3 years ago and no fault recorded. I want to buy one now for my husband but not available. I badly needed this same laptop.

I use this laptop strictly for college and love it. Very easy to use and set up. I had my last laptop for 9 years and was scared to upgrade. This laptop made it easy to start up. It is small and semi-light.

I purchased this for education and also to serve any day to day purposes This work absolutely fine for all my needs at college and decent with some gaming It’s also light weight got good battery life and easy to be used as tablet

There is a lawsuit, HP hopefully they own this design flaw or they will lose all customer base. i purchased 2 and both add the hinge coming apart. And all on the left, so it is a design flaw or just poor material.

Am enjoying the product with utmost performance, however the service I got from the Bestbuy attendants was second to none.

I love it. Got it open box, and while the box was a bit dinged up, the item was in great condition. And the OLED display is genuinely amazing. Really great being able to watch HDR content on my laptop.

At first the computer did what i needed and seemed nice and functional. However, after 1 year of light use without being dropped or any serious wear and tear the screen hinge has broken and came out right before finals. Apparently its common with these computers but isn’t covered and HP won’t call it a defect in the computer.

I could only use the computer twice. the third time I turned it on, the screen turned black! a brand new laptop it can´t be used it. as you can see in photos, once you turned on it appears the HP logo very blur and then black....also you can see the lights of the keboard on, but the screen black..
