I toggled between this HP model and another brand. We’ve had a HP color laser printer for over 10 years with zero trouble. So that was a factor. So far, we are extremely happy. It was easy to set-up. My wife prints lots of stuff from her iPad. I’ve done some from my DELL PC as well as my IPad Pro. All works fine. So far scanning is going great. I’m scanning photos for a book I’m writing and they look great. It fits in the area desired. Looks great as well. Well satisfied.

Great machine. Easy setup. Wireless works flawlessly. Color quality is superb. Very pleased with the desk footprint.

Easy to set up and configure the software. Working very well. Faster than my old HP Officejet printer. Does double sided printing very well. Quiet when operating. This is a multi function color laser printer so it also scans and sends/receives faxes. It also can do remote printing via the Internet.

Setup was quick and easy. Print quality is good; prints fast too (my old printer took a ridiculously long time to warm up!). The only drawbacks are the small screen and that it's a bit noisy when in use. Otherwise, it seems to be a great overall machine so far!

This machine has exceeded my expectation! It scans really quick, it prints very clear! My pages come out straight because the feed tray slides are more stiff, keeping it in one position rather than the paper moving! It was easy to install. I am very happy with my purchase.

We purchased this printer, copier, fax machine to replace our other one that was, who knows how many years old. It looks sleek, works well, excellent quality as is the wifi capability. The set up was easy and flawless and we havent encounter any obstacles or snafus yet. Looking forward to the cartridge refills being less often and less complicated.

Love this printer. I really have no complaints. It was easy to set up and the quality of prints is great! I will agree with other reviews that say if your lookong to print photos I would go with something else. That being said I'm more than happy with quality. The only thing that was a bit challenging was the scan to email function. That took me a bit to set up. I followed a few online videos and got through it but not the easiest thing to set up. Still very pleased overall with this printer. I liked it so much I purchased one for my dad with some points I earned with my BB credit card.

Easy to set up, great color printouts, good resolution. I read a lot of reviews before going with this model (and had the thumb's up from an engineering friend who has one in his business). I'm really, really pleased with this purchase. Have had a number of HP printers over the years, but this may be my best one yet.

MUCH faster than the inkjet I was using for my bookkeeping business! It’s definitely a time-saver in all aspects of printing and scanning and will connect to HP Smart. I typically print around 125 pages/month and the only con is that this particular printer isn’t eligible for HP Instant Ink, which I was a little disappointed about but it’s not a dealbreaker.

Printer is working great so far. I will say - if you do have Spectrum internet, I was on the phone with an HP tech yesterday because I could not get the printer online. This printer will work with Spectrum if it is connected through an ethernet cable. Outside of that, printer works great and was very easy to set up!

So far... so good. Set up was easy and seamless, and the machine prints beautifully. Regardless of good or bad integration software with my computer, I've historically found that scanning to my computer is unreliable. This has a USB port - allows scanning or printing to a thumb drive. Great product so far!

I think this is one of the best printers I've ever used in my life. I mean moving from an inkjet to a laser printer is a huge step up not only in functionality but in cost for the end user so to move to a laser printer, you need to really justify it in your head and in your pocketbook, because not only is there a larger out-of-pocket initial investment up front for these Laser Printers but these replacement cartridges are about 100 to 200 bucks a pop depending on the model. But this particular model works for me to where I didn't have to buy the model above this for any added features, because even though I would have loved to have bought the model above this (I love my gadgets), the difference between this model and the higher model is about 60 pounds and I'm not going to be lifting 100 lb printer at home up onto a shelf if I don't own a business. This one runs about 40 something pounts which is fine. The wireless connectivity, the firmware updates, the color display and cartridge levels as well as the ease of reordering through the app are slick I also love the wireless printing for when my printer is not necessarily on but on standby and shows is offline, but switching to wireless printing wakes that guy up and totally sends the print and I get what I need from my phone or whatever device I have, tablet or two in one. Very happy I went with HP now completing my small HP ecosphere of elite book and printer combo. I like that.

Starting with the ease of the Best Buy online order process with same day delivery, it was a great experience. The printer itself works great and for my company well worth the price. We just had too many issues with inkjet printers, so the color laser is much nicer. The printer worked out of the box once I set up the wireless printing capabilities. I definitely recommend this product, I’m just hoping it holds up well over time.

Alot of research went into selecting this printer, as it’s my first laser printer. The main use is for my home-based business, so I needed something multifunctional, reliable, and able to wirelessly communicate with my iPhone and MacBook. This printer does so, seamlessly. I also appreciate how straightforward and uncomplicated it is to use. Very happy with, and highly recommend this printer!

Upgraded from an old ink jet printer and found this HP Color Laser Jet Pro MFP M283fdw printer to be an affordable option for improved print quality. The print speed is great and quality is as expected. Only reason for 4/5 stars would be the HP Smart App and general setup took some effort. Wasn't able to setup scan to email as quickly as I'd assume, and HP account doesnt recognize this as an 'owned printer' (potentially just hasnt synced yet). The printer doesn't scan double-sided, which isn't a deal breaker. All-in-all a quality purchase.

This is a great printer, with a few exceptions. Mainly the tiny little display and control module. I can't even read it w/o my glasses on. It wasn't a really BIG DEAL until I went to do the fax setup. Operating it with the tiny keys was difficult. Besides that, it's very fast and I love the duplex printing.

This printer is a great value! The print quality is great for my home office. The HP App allows you to customize settings and setup advanced features like Scan/Send via Email which really helps to reduce the amount of paper you need to keep. I've had it for about 3 weeks now and believe it was a good purchase!

Quality printing. Easy setup. I love the speed compared to my old inkjet.
