I think it a bit premature to rate this printer after only a few weeks, let me say that setting it up was simple, loading the ink cartridges was a bit of a test due to substandard directions and a manual load tray, however the printer functions quite well and the quality is quite good. My only minor complaint is the finish paper tray that won’t hold the entire sheet of paper like my old HP printer, but I can live with that annoyance.

I ordered this printer as a more affordable option with the most features I need for home use and starting a small business, and so far it has met my needs well. Mine came with three free ink refills. However, I don't like that they require you to complete the whole registration process using a credit card. The price was reasonable, and the three~month trial gives me ample time to determine my monthly printing needs, which is great. This printer is a larger size compared to my last printer, so keep that in mind if you're replacing yours as well. The setup is supposed to be easy with QR codes, but it took me a few hours. It’s recommended to set up the printer via Wi-Fi rather than a direct plug-in. I had to go into my router settings to switch from the 5GHz band to the 2.4GHz band so that the printer and my phone app could connect. I'm using an older Google Pixel phone, and I it finally worked afte several times and troubleshoot a few other issues. For instance, the setup process tries to push you to sign up for or join the ink refill program, and you have to find a workaround to bypass or decline it. Scroll down you will want to just cancel but read it unlike me. Another issue could be my Wi-Fi being slow; each new menu item during the setup took almost a minute to load, which made it seem like it had locked up. I lowered my internet speeds because I didn't need so much bandwidth. so it may be a weak single, but be sure to check that out right away or check for same issue in other reviews.I may find out if this resolves once I plug it in directly (I still need to get the cord). If your Wi-Fi is as slow as mine, you might need to consider returning the printer. The plastic tray feels a bit flimsy, but the rest of the printer is of good quality. I love the touchscreen options (just not the lag in them), and the colors and print quality are excellent. Maintenance is also much easier with the touchscreen interface. I gave it four stars due to the initial setup issues, the push to order ink, and the waiver requirement for the ink refill. The slowness of the touchscreen options and the flimsy tray also contributed to this rating. Overall, despite these drawbacks, this printer offers great value for home or small business use.

I’ve been using the HP OfficeJet Pro 8125e for a few days, and it has exceeded my expectations. Setup was super easy, especially with the HP Smart app. It connected to my Wi-Fi without any issues and has been working flawlessly since. Perfect having the Instant Ink.

I absolutely love this printer. Easy set up. It prints, scans and copies quick and perfectly every time. It’s truly my favorite home printer I’ve ever owned. I run a small business I have owned 20 over the years.

I love this printer. I have not had much of any issues with it. Just make sure the plug doesn’t come out without shutting it off. It will give you an alert for that. Also, I’ve runoff mini copies of words to songs for my church. I’ve done that for three weeks and now I am out of ink not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing. Luckily, I bought an extra box of ink. I’m not sure if I’m supposed to buy all the colors or just one I tried to print something of color and it wouldn’t print and I haven’t used those colors with any of the other stuff. I had a paper jam, but it was easy to clear. I only gave it four stars for it using ink so fast also when you open the top, there is no hinge to hold it open. Be careful. It will fall back down, other than that it’s a great buy! Oh yeah, you can only use Hewlett-Packard ink in it.

I bought this one to replace my old HP that lasted 13 years. This is a perfect upgrade. It is very sturdy and super fast step by step prompted set up. I used my smart phone to do it. The printing is super fast and quiet. Very sleek modern look. It also has an easier door to lift that doesnt clunk around if u dont want to use the top loader. The paper tray seems a little fragile but works so no complaints. The top loader you have to push a little more firmly to get it to start and can come out crooked so same as most printers. This is a great option for printing a lot and on a budget. It did crinkle one print page.

The printer has normal print quality and easy to use, but it does seem to have bug when communicating with the HP+ account. It always shows an error with your account when printing, which doesn't interrupt the print, but HP support cannot figure out why this is.

It's kind of slow to print but does a good job. I was disappointed that there was no code to redeem the 3+ months of the ink program and BB won't help.

Purchased to print my own wedding invites and misc items and it is exactly what I needed! Very user friendly to set up as well!

The print quality is very good. I like the fact that it automatically prints double sided which allows me to save paper. I use this printer primarily for personal reasons and church activities.

I always liked HP printers. It is not pricy this 8120 series. Installation was not difficult. Nice to get 3 months of instant ink free. It prints as expected.

The printer is efficient, it was an easy set up and connected to my laptop very easy, however I did have an issue with it printing color the first week. I had to sync and un-sync it several times to get it to print in color. My coworkers had no issues with getting theirs to print in color. I will say although it is easy to set up and affordable, if you print a lot I’d recommend upgrading to the larger version as the paper holder is very small and only fits a small portion of a ream at a time and we are having to constantly reload. The ink prices are expensive and honestly I’ve gone through a lot more it seems with this model compared to the bigger model even after changing the settings to reduce ink usage.

Setup is a major challenge. It copies and prints documents from HP ENVY All In One desk top pc. It will not scan from HP scan icon that I use for prior HP 7155 scanner, printer, copier. Additional hp ink arrived too soon after I purchased the hp printer that came with hp ink. hp Instant Ink app and service is a real nuisance.

Good design. Having a bit of problems printing. Everything is hooked up correctly. Printer is currently hard wire with my laptop Seems to be a officejet issue.

I purchased this all-in one to replace the BEST PRINTER I EVER OWNED that finally started giving up the ghost after more miles then I ever dreamed I would get on one. My expectations were pretty high, which might taint my opinion of this one some. Honestly, when it works, its great. Good quality print but it was not easy to set up and is very temperamental. It is also much slower then it's predecessor. Not super impressed after about a month. All I really want is my old one back. It was on sale so I probably didn't spend as much for one as I should have but to be honest the other HPs that cost more didn't have sterling reviews. For some unfathomable reason this one did. HP obviously doesn't make them like they used to. I was a hardcore HP printer lover...not any more.
