great product i like it, i play gears of war 4 cpu 67-71 C medium setting 1080p, low setting 720p 61-65c, been using it now for a few months without any issues, first i turn off gaming mode, lower battery 99%, and run nvidia for processor instead of automatic, your C should lower dramatically recommend this laptop its beautiful.

Title says it all, wifi card malfunctioned while i was at work and it no longer will recognize any internet unless plugged in. That won't happen at work as we are not allowed direct plug ins. All in all machine ran great when it did work. I will update it if i can get the driver fixed at home while plugged by Ethernet. Otherwise it is hardware related.

Good desktop replacement, with blazing performance. ~30 FPS at high quality settings and ~60 FPS with medium settings. In fact, with medium visual quality settings, some older games don't even result in turning on the fans at all! Actual laptop use-case is ruined because of poor battery life, especially compared to Asus Zephyrus G-series and Apple Macbook M-series laptops. **Pros:** - Huge trackpad which tolerates oil, sweat. - Beautiful 16' screen. Good colours. - 144 Hz refresh rate. Smooth UI. - Tactile clicky keyboard keys. - Fans loud, but very effective at cooling. Never had any temperature related issues. **Cons:** - Poor battery life. Barely lasts a single lecture session. - Battery bleeds even in sleep mode, somehow. - Loud fans, spin up even in casual web browsing. - Windows unable to sleep (Linux works fine though). - Linux unable to hibernate (Windows works fine though). - Randomly (but rarely), complete system freezes (on both Windows and Linux), and only solution is to hard reboot. - Linux Bluetooth driver requires hacks in kernels older than v6. - Linux fan control requires custom NBFC, no utility provided for Linux. - Keyboard lights don't auto-switch-off after a delay, stay on indefinitely until turned off manually. This kinda spoils the experience of watching a movie in the dark.

Got it on sale price which makes the laptop worth it Great design Weight is light enough Great graphics High pitch fan noise can be annoying Screen wobbles a little bit when adjusting angle

Good with most games but still not enough to run the highest graphic settings and slow for some vr contents. Very smooth for streaming though, even for 8k+ graphics. Same short battery life issue like most gaming laptops.

Great for on the go gaming, but it heats up pretty quickly so i would recommend getting an external fan cooler along side it. I havent had any performance issues with it and ive had it 3 days short of a year. Definitely one of my better purchases. The screen may be on the smaller side but the graphics are absolutely outstanding.

A good computer when it is on sale. A bit heavy was the best complaint received (this was for somebody else) They are enjoying the graphics for their games on steam but the battery runs down a bit fast on high graphic games.

As far as the hardware is concerned, this is a good middle-of-the-ground laptop. It does every everyday household computer task you ask of it without pausing. However, I don't like the typical Hewlett-Packard practice of bombarding you with unwanted software trials, especially the pernicious McAfee antivirus product. Any experienced computer user will have their preference for antivirus software, so why not let them install their own choice without having to chop out the dratted McAfee product? Also, a minor annoyance is that the flash drive ports are located at the rear of the side panel, which makes it harder to insert flash drives.

Nice build feels very similar to lenovo laptops in build quality, metal body and sturdy. My complaint and the reason i returned mine qas due to the attorcious HP software, the Omen app for controlling fan and clock speeds is so bad it doesnt save your settings have the time, you can do without them but it irked me a bit since my old lenovo laptops software gave me no problems. If you dont plan on using their software its a wonderful laptop

I always wanted an Omen. The few times I’ve used it, it runs smoothly and has great graphics. It’s best to turn it off completely or put it in hibernate, other wise the battery will drain pretty fast while closed.

Split the cost of this with my son so he could get a new laptop for heading to college in the fall. So far he’s not super thrilled with windows 11 or how long it takes to boot up. Once it up and running though he said it runs the applications and games he likes just great.

Good built quality and materials but lacks a premium feel. Specs are decent but other brands have better value for money offerings for similar or cheaper price
