This was the perfect upgrade for me. I like to do gaming, but running one of those towers with 6 fans that sounds like a vacuum cleaner was not what I wanted. The Omen 16L runs at very low DB levels, even when it's asked to exert itself. So when I just want to browse the web or listen to music videos it gets out of the way. I opted for the model with 32gigs of RAM and a 2 TB SSD, but after using it for a few days I think I might have been happy even with the lower cost options. Also -- it's Linux friendly, with good video driver support from Nvidia. No complaints!

This computer is great. My only complaint is it says it comes with a 1 TB docking station. It has no storage and couldn’t read several of my flash drives. I looked up Hotface and it’s very low quality docking station so it won’t be usable as it is rated low for damaging flash drives.
