Awesome pc for gaming, decent processor, amazing graphics and best of all it can be opened up and upgraded in the future. The downsides are the price for only 16gb of RAM. The other downside which is more of a software and driver issue is the Bluetooth which disconnects became of windows power saving settings. Bluetooth can also fail because of a windows update or a specific setting that turns off Bluetooth when the computer sleeps. If Bluetooth doesnāt work restart the computer and it works again. Do make sure to put best performance in windows and on the HP omen app leave it as automatic and make sure is not in low power. Some old games may freeze but this is because you have to manually turn off some cpu cores in task manager for that specific game. The HP omen app is cool for power and performance settings and controlling the rgb but its annoying to see ads.

Can't say I'm not loving it! Definitely a sweet upgrade from my 5 year-old Omen 1660 Ti and LOQ 3050 laptops. Comes with a free basic full-size keyboard and mouse. Pros: *(running games and apps at base BIOS/performance settings with upgraded RAM and SSD)* -can run most games easily with capped 60 frames, high graphics at 2K/1440p resolution, even Unreal Engine 5 slop games (but remember, the GPU is designed to be a middle-market thing that takes advantage of DLSS features; raw performance and benchmarking may yield middling performance) -5060 Ti / 16GB card is compatible with Nvidia Smooth Motion technology (and other latest NV features) -plays well with third-party frame gen/scaling programs (Lossless Scaling FG) -Ryzen 7 8700F has good amount of headroom even for CPU-intensive games so far -good overall thermals and is quiet so far -easy RAM and SSD upgradeability -good aesthetics/LED lighting balance, not too childishly flashy (for a 39 y/o man like me) -easy to setup, no unnecessary bloatware and bloat background apps eating system resources -good amount of ports/connectivity -comes in a good-sized package (tower case) Cons (but easily forgivable): -this could have come with 32 GB DDR5 RAM; one has to buy the same exact specific RAM stick brand and model to upgrade to higher RAM capacity -misleading description on Best Buy where it is made to sound like it runs 6000 MT/s out of the box; need to use preset EXPO 1 or 2 via BIOS but it can be very unstable in CPU-intensive situations; default is 5200 MT/s BUT it is enough a speed if you're only going to be mostly gaming and doing some moderate to heavy video/photo processing and stuff -this should've come with a full booklet guide to everything just so it comes handy when a buyer wants to also upgrade stuff right out of the box -a bit too heavy to carry/move around (but definitely doable) -did not come with official Omen brand desktop background wallpapers; yes, I love the Omen wallpapers that my 5 year-old Omen laptop came with UPGRADES done: -RAM: Kingston Fury Beast DDR5 RGB EXPO Desktop Memory | 6000MT/s / 16GB x Kit of 2 (KF560C36BBE2AK2-32) *for a total of 32 GB RAM swap from factory-installed 16 GB sticks* *note: above RAM sticks swapped exactly match the factory RAM sticks the rig came with, installed on slots 2 and 4 for max base speed of 5200 MT/s, BIOS adjusted via EXPO profiles up to 6000 MT/s* *installing on all 4 RAM slots will result to slower speed at 3600 MT/s and possible instability even when using EXPO profiles* -Internal SSD: Samsung - 990 EVO PLUS SSD 1TB, PCIe Gen 4x4 | 5x2 M.2 2280, Speeds Up to 7,150 MB/s -External SSD (via one of the USB-C 3.1 ports): Samsung - T7 1TB External USB 3.2 Gen 2 Portable SSD with Hardware Encryption Internal stress/benchmark results at base/factory settings: 11,680

Amazing PC. Its a great low budget PC. It plays all my games no problems. Definitely an upgrade from my previous 1080... I would definitely recommend this PC. It works with no problems and is super clean inside. I did upgrade the RAM with no issues either.

A really solid Pc been doing me well. I wish it had 2 sticks of ram even if it was only a 2x8, but otherwise I am totally enjoying it!

Computer works great. Upgrades are a little testy even though HP advertises it as plug and play. Otherwise, great purchase for someone that got tired of building.

The HP OMEN 35L has a defective and low-quality power supply that does not match the level of the rest of the components. The PSU is weak, unreliable, and often operates at its limit, which can cause excessive noise, power instability, random shutdowns, and long-term damage to internal hardware. For a high-performance gaming desktop, this power supply is poorly designed, not future-proof, and fails to deliver clean, stable energy, making it one of the biggest flaws of the system.
