12-8 2025 I have had this OmniBook Ultra-9 for about 60 days now. I switched from another brand that had 3 features I liked, I'll comment below. This Ultra has all the specifications I was interested in and the Ultra 9 Intel chip is great. The pricing was great... and, with the Best-Buy membership guaranteed a warranty. The battery is working well and overall the performance for what I need is fine, no issues. 1. The Laptop "outer covering" seems like an aluminum - its sort of cold to touch, especially if on the road. The other brand had a hard -rubberized outer-shell, I really liked it and if anything would show show scuffs and not damaged. 2. This "Synoptic touch pad" on this HP seem larger than it needs to be. In my opinion it could easily be 1.25 inches smaller in width. It gets in my way when resting my hands on the laptop when typing. Smaller have made this awesome! Is this size really necessary on a 14" Laptop? 3. I wish it had an extra port or two more than what it came with. I know that would have affected the price and not likely the size. I knew when I purchased it what it had, so I am not surprised. It's just a comment. I bought a small docking unit for the other connections just in case... Overall being 14" inches its great, I didn't need a larger bulkier laptop, when traveling. The Ultra9 Intel-chip is good, the screen pixels are great, matched with 32 ram... 3 things I wish were different, are NOT deal breakers! Overall happy with the purchase, thanks to BestBuy!

Great specs and product for the great deal! Excellent keyboard, very good screen with crisp resolution for browsing and general office work with plenty of room for multitasking using Windows 11 and Edge features that support virtual desktops and Edge collections across multiple devices. Great sound for listening to the music and/or binge-watching movies/shows. Bright, dynamic and high refresh rate screen that is comfortable on the eyes. The keyboard is a joy to use! Crisp, quiet and good key travel distance with very satisfactory key bounce back feedback. Touchpad has crisp and clear click that is NOT mushy. On top of all of this a laptop that weighs as a feather! Under 3 pounds! Great battery life, multi-day use without having to plug-in the laptop - assuming that you are not using the PC every waking hour and have a life outside of sitting in front of the PC. Overall, very pleased with acquisition.

Bought my HP Omnibook Ultra about a month ago replacing my previous HP Spectre 13.3 Oled screen (which I loved!). Could not be happier with the Omni upgrade!!! This laptop is fast; has nice feel keyboard; exceptional oled screen graphics; and cool running processor (my previous i7 spectre ran so hot I would get light red burns on my red). I love that I can work with shorts and keep on legs without getting burned. Charging time and operational time have been very, very good. As others have mentioned, the laptop is a nice light weight. Anything Bad or regrets?? Honestly nothing comes to mind. The sound is very good but not exceptional; although I would not expect exceptional sound with a 14 inch laptop. I thought I would miss the lack of a USB-A, .... but I really don't. The world is going USB-C/Thunderbolt and while I bought a small USB-A -> USB-C dongle, I have yet to use it. Highly Recommend!!!

Love this little computer! The only thing I miss is the number pad on the size, but I’m good with the numbers across the top. The 2TB hard drive is a big plus! This computer is a great value for the money!

Premium feeling omnibook. Still haven't gotten to test all the capabilities really excited to see how the NPU fates. Overall a decent laptop with a decent battery life. Had to buy the mpp pen separately which hasn't really been that great .

I’ve owned laptops since 1987 (the first had just two floppy drives), and this HP Omnibook Ultra Flip is the best Windows laptop I’ve ever used. In fact, it’s a close second to my M4 Macbook Air, which is a zephyr among laptops and sets a pretty high bar to surpass. The Omnibook Ultra is just slightly wider than the Macbook Air, the same depth and only a little thicker when closed. And it is only 2 ounces heavier. On the other hand, the Ultra 9 288v processor is about 20% slower than the M4, according to some reviews, and it is also a less energy efficient chip, so battery life is not as good as the Macbook Air. Nonetheless, I really like the Omnibook Ultra. It’s a light and very capable laptop, and with 32 GB memory and 2 TB storage, it pretty much eliminates those common limitations. But the best feature is its 3K OLED display. It is truly gorgeous. Colors pop and details are sharp and crisp. A small disadvantage is its speakers are primarily on the bottom of the case, so it can sound muffled when on your lap. That is less noticeable on a desk. Last but not least, it has both facial recognition and a very good fingerprint reader, so Windows Hello rarely insists that I enter my pin, unlike the Lenovo Yoga Slim 9i (a very similar laptop) which does not do facial recognition and had a rarely successful fingerprint reader, so Windows Hello was very annoying on it. If you can find the Omnibook Ultra on sale (Best Buy recently had it $600 off list price), it can be a bargain, but even at full list price, it’s a great laptop.

I’ve been using the HP OmniBook for a while now, and overall it’s a very solid laptop. The build quality feels premium, and the design is slim and professional, making it easy to carry for office or travel use. The display is clear and comfortable for long hours of work, whether it’s coding, browsing, or watching videos. Performance is smooth for daily tasks like multitasking, office work, development tools, and light media editing. The laptop boots fast, applications open quickly, and it handles multiple tabs and tools without lag. The keyboard is comfortable for long typing sessions, and the trackpad is responsive. Battery life is decent and easily lasts through a regular workday with moderate usage. The cooling is quiet most of the time, and the laptop doesn’t heat up much during normal work. Overall, the HP OmniBook is a great choice for professionals and students looking for a reliable, stylish, and efficient laptop for everyday use.

Brilliant screen, super light and blazing fast. The battery life is very long. One thing to get used to is the location of the two Thunderbolt ports at the back edge (angled corner) of the laptop.

Great new PC. I had a studio laptop and enjoyed the use but was a bit bulky and not really ideal for mobility. I got intrigued with the new copilot + options and when this was on sale I went for it. - Great specs and options for the price (when on sale) - Copilot+ is awesome and really improves creativity and productivity. - The screen is a gem with HDR and OLED (not nearly as good as Apple devices though). - Battery life is good enough, you can get much more by being in balanced mode or reduced performance and I really did not notice any downside to performance. - The only "negative" for me is if you get the optional tilt pen from HP, it is not as intuitive or responsive as the microsoft one was on the studio laptop.

I’ve only had the laptop for a couple of weeks, but happy with everything so far. I got this on sale for a great price. It’s thin, light, and has a great display. It seemed a little sow at first, but once I removed a few bloatware programs the speed I expected was there. Happy with the ports included and that it uses usb-c for charging so a special charger is not needed. Again, this is pretty new to me so most of my time has been transferring files and loading programs.

While I really like the size and performance, so far, of my HP OmniBook Ultra Flip 2-in-1 Laptop, there are several features that would make it better. I understood it could be used as a tablet but apps cannot be downloaded to use it as a tablet. The battery life is too short compared to the battery life of my old HP Pavilion laptop. The limited 2 USB-C ports make it necessary to purchase a dock for all the needed ports. One feature I really like is the two USB-C ports are at an angle on the back two corners of the laptop. The Copilot is annoying as it pops up way too often. Even with all these criticisms, I do like my OmniBook Ultra Flip 2-in-1 laptop and am glad I have it.

I really wanted this to be my long-term laptop because it looks great on paper: OLED display, premium design, haptic touchpad, Windows Hello, and a modern “AI PC” platform. The screen is legitimately beautiful, and the touchpad is one of the best I’ve used on any Windows laptop. But the more I use it, the more I feel like I might return it mainly because the daily experience isn’t matching the premium price. The biggest dealbreaker for me is the typing experience. The keyboard feels overly clicky/clacky and doesn’t have the satisfying, solid feel I expect from a “premium” machine. Obviously that's just preference, and it sounds minor until you’re using it for school/work but over time it becomes irritating and has annoyed others in meetings. I type a lot, and I need a keyboard that feels smooth, stable, and quiet enough to enjoy using. This one doesn’t. It feels more hollow than expected and just not enjoyable long term. The second major issue is battery life. I’m not seeing “all-day battery” behavior at all, even with normal usage. Watching YouTube, browsing, or doing basic productivity tasks drains it faster than it should, and that defeats the whole purpose of this class of laptop. It’s the kind of battery drain where you start thinking: If it’s like this now, what will it look like in 6–12 months? At times it feels like I’m losing battery almost fast enough that I’m always checking the percentage instead of just using the device. And lastly, the 2-in-1 design hasn’t been as practical as I thought. It’s constantly shifting modes if you adjust the hinge too far back, and that gets old quickly especially when using it casually on the couch or in bed. It has some amazing strengths (especially the screen and touchpad), but if the typing and battery experience aren’t there, it’s hard to justify keeping it. At this point I’m leaning toward returning it unless something changes dramatically after more updates and optimization.

This is a powerful laptop despite being lightweight. It has all the extra features we all like. A touchscreen, enough power processor and gigabytes of fast ram and lots of storage capacity as well. I couldn’t find a better solution that will easily run MS Office 365.

I came from a 6 years old Yoga 9I. In my case I noted pretty well the improvement on performance. Lovely screen with lovely colors and definition. The chip is the best one you can have from intel Lunar Lake series. The DEL button is exactly next ot it of the power button, for make doesn't make sense at all... something to consider. The batterry is very good, around 12 hours. It works pretty well on really hard and heavy excel files, at least 8-10 open Chormes tabs, outlook with lots and lots of Gb and emails into it, some youtube ambient music and some Teams conferences, all of them at same time, same day.... probably those 32Gb of RAM helps a lot
