HP OmniBook X Flip 2-in-1 - 16" 2K Touchscreen Laptop - Intel Core Ultra 7 256V 2024, 16GB Memory, 1TB SSD, Copilot+ PC - Eclipse Gray. Seems fast enough for me. I don't play games AT ALL so it's just streaming. I don't even have a cable box so everything comes over the internet, which for me is 120mbps, via my subscriptions... HBO, Netflix, Paramount, Prime, ... I know, overkill. But they're all smooth on this laptop. Just one thing though: it's a flip-screen notebook --360degrees over backwards which allows it to be a tablet -- for which I have no real application -- pointless for me, really. But I got an excellent deal on it from Best Buy so I couldn't resist. One thing I need to get used to is touching the screen when I'm showing something to someone {rolling eyes}. Right now, it lives in the cubby space below my TV in my entertainment unit. I bought it with the intention of testing it out to possibly return it but, yeah, no, that didn't happen. I could have spent less but the thing is smooth and fast so I kept it. I don't have any spec details (nits, resolution, yada yada) but you can look all that up in seconds so if you geek out on that stuff, be my guest. Its light weight is a joy for travelling; backlit keyboard is bright; Keyboard keys spacing and feel (low-profile) are a bit different but passable; battery life = yummy. One REAL pain is the lack of extra ports but I guess everybody's making that switch lately. Read the specs carefully cuz you may have to buy a powered hub if you need more. Comes with Windows 11 + Copilot but I debloated it easily enough. Bottom line: I'm happy with it.

I picked up the HP OmniBook X Flip 16-inch 2-in-1 touchscreen laptop with the Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, 16GB of RAM, and a spacious 1TB SSD, and it has genuinely exceeded my expectations. The 2K touchscreen is crisp, bright, and incredibly responsive, making it a breeze to flip between laptop and tablet mode for binge-watching shows or sketching out ideas. Performance-wise, the Intel Core Ultra 7 paired with the generous solid-state drive handles multitasking effortlessly, launching apps instantly and keeping up with heavy workloads without lagging. Battery life easily gets me through a full workday of typing, streaming, and browsing on a single charge. The Eclipse Gray finish gives it a sleek, premium look that doesn't show fingerprints easily, and the keyboard has a great tactile feel. For a Copilot+ PC packed with these high-end specs, the value for money is hard to beat. Highly recommended!

I bought this laptop for college and so far it’s been great! I like the feature of it turning into an ipad which saves a bit of space when i’m studying on a table. It is a bit on the heavier side but i honestly don’t mind it. The performance is great, things load fast and everything is easy to navigate. I love how the fans aren’t loud at all which is one thing i was nervous about. The material feels very nice and not cheap at all. The camera is pretty decent and so is the audio, and microphone. I think this is a good laptop for college

The HP OmniBook X Flip 2-in-1 Copilot+ PC is a sleek, powerful, and flexible laptop that delivers a lot of value in a clean, modern package. Its 16-inch 2K touch display is crisp, bright, and responsive, making everything from streaming to multitasking feel smooth and enjoyable. Whether you’re flipping it into tablet mode for notes or using it traditionally for work, the hinge feels sturdy and the overall build quality is solid. With the Intel Core Ultra 7 256V ’24 and 16GB of memory, the performance is consistently fast. Apps open quickly, multitasking is effortless, and the Copilot+ integration brings helpful AI features that actually speed up daily tasks. The 1TB SSD offers fast load times and plenty of room for large files, videos, or heavy work projects. Battery life holds up well, easily lasting through a typical day, and the laptop stays cool and quiet even under pressure. The keyboard is comfortable for long typing sessions, and the trackpad is smooth and accurate. The Eclipse Gray finish gives it an understated, premium look, and the 2-in-1 versatility makes it great for work, travel, studying, or creative use. Whether you need a laptop, tablet, or something in between, this device adapts without compromise. Overall, the OmniBook X Flip is a strong all-around performer—fast, flexible, and thoughtfully designed. It’s a great choice for anyone who wants a dependable, modern 2-in-1 that handles work and entertainment with equal ease.

Amazing laptop! Has the processing power to complete multiple core tasks at a single time which is great for work and school. Has plenty of space for downloads, personal items, and general necessities you would need on a professional laptop. Sadly lacks graphical advancements as it has a lower end graphics card integrated within but is still very functional for what it is designed to do (still very well lit picture and great pixel quality!) It has a very sleek and luxurious design with exceptionally well build quality. The 16” LCD touchscreen can be used like a large tablet which is very convenient when you don’t want the feeling of computing on a conventional laptop. Finally the feeling of computing on this laptop with its quality feels like you could compute for very extended periods of time (especially with the battery life) without any issues. Overall a higher mid tier laptop for a very mid ranged price!

Seriously obsessed with my new laptop! The battery life is a total game-changer, I can go all day without needing to plug in. Plus, it handles everything I throw at it with zero complaints. Whether I'm diving into some intense coding sessions, creating cool animations, or even crushing my favorite games, this machine keeps up flawlessly. It's the best for processing power, making multitasking an absolute breeze. I've honestly never experienced such smooth performance before. If you're looking for a powerhouse that won't die on you halfway through your work or play, this is it! Highly recommend!

I’ve been using the HP OmniBook X (16 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD) for two weeks now, and it’s been a dream. The 16-inch Full HD IPS display is bright, color-accurate, and even handles outdoor glare better than I expected. Scrolling through spreadsheets, editing photos, or streaming UHD videos—all of it looks razor-sharp and fluid. Under the hood, the OmniBook X breezes through everything I throw at it. Whether I’m running multiple browser tabs, compiling code in Visual Studio, or editing a 1080p timeline in DaVinci Resolve, there’s zero lag. The fast SSD cuts boot-times to under 5 seconds, and apps open instantly. It’s rare to feel this much grunt in such a slim chassis. Battery life has been solid, too—easily sixteen to twenty hours of mixed use, including document editing, web conferencing, and the occasional YouTube break. I also appreciate the sturdy recycled aluminum build, comfortable backlit keyboard, and the full suite of ports (USB-C, USB-A, and HDMI slot). If you’re on Best Buy’s site wondering whether to pull the trigger, I can’t recommend the HP OmniBook X enough. It strikes the perfect balance between eye-pleasing visuals and raw horsepower, all without turning into a furnace or weighing you down. —Ernestina

This is my second HP in the last 3-4 years and I am highly satisfied. Performance, battery life, and display quality that I look for. I used to be a heavy gamer and the performance and battery, mixed with the quality of the display and sound, is something that I look for at a. Great price point for what I need a laptop for now a days. Even my 4 year old HP, I it the power button and it's at the login screen in less than 20 seconds. I can start and go do what I need to with put having to wait. This 2 in1 is at that same level and even the sound quality is nice for a laptop while you are surfing the web or creating a spreadsheet for business analysis. Doesn't miss a beat. HP is definitely my brand moving forward if they keep up with this quality and performance. I always love that I can just bring up the Best Buy app and search for HO and see all the different options they have from basic user level to full gaming platform. I know that if I wanted to get back into gaming that I could find a good quality performing gamer laptop for someone on a budget. I haven't left many feedback on other devices or electronics but I thinks it's worth say because I used to love a different brand of computers and I am sorry to say that over the last 10 years the quality and reliability just weren't there anymore. I felt like I was picking up a piece of plastic that if you picked it up the wrong way from one of the computers the power cut off. It felt cheap. These last 4 years HP is putting out nice solid, in both programing and chip set up to the outside felling solid metal feel that it can hold up under a few different type of condition. I'm not saying go and por water kn it, but it just feels like you can pick it and go and put down anywhere and not worry if you are going mess it up or it will break. 5 stars all the way.

This product has delivered on the specifications I was looking for. Specifically large storage quick processing, larger screen responsive touch screen capability. Good quality of audio and visual.

I did not plan on getting this but after I saw it on display kept coming back to it. This machine is sleek, great display, good processor, tons of storage. I got it on sale that was a bonus. Highly recommended.

I’ve been using this laptop for a couple of weeks and I’m really impressed. It’s fast, lightweight, and perfect for everyday tasks and school work. The screen is bright and clear, the keyboard feels great, and the battery easily lasts through the day. Quiet cooling and solid build quality make it a great value for the price. Highly recommend!

I absolutely love the look and feel of this 2-in-1 design. The 16" 2K touchscreen display is beautiful, and the multitasking performance is outstanding with zero slowdowns. The keyboard layout is incredibly comfortable to use, and I was thrilled that backlighting was included. Best of all, the battery life easily exceeds every other laptop I have ever owned. Highly recommended!

I’ve been using the HP OmniBook X Flip for a little while now, and it has exceeded my expectations. The standout feature for me is the battery life—it easily powers through a full day of work without me having to hunt for an outlet. The 2K touch-screen display is absolutely beautiful; colors are vibrant and the touch response is snappy, which makes using it in tablet mode a breeze. In terms of performance, the Intel Core Ultra 7 and 16GB of memory keep everything running smoothly. While the speed is very good for multitasking and daily productivity, the efficiency of the Copilot+ PC features is what really makes this feel like a next-gen laptop. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a versatile, high-quality 2-in-1 that doesn't compromise on screen quality or longevity.

OVERALL: I'm very happy I made this purchase. It's my first big tech buy; I bought this for college and got it on sale for under $800, and for that price, it is a great deal. It feels like a machine worth well over $1000. It is well built, looks great, and can be used as a laptop AND a massive tablet. The features are unmatched. At the same time, it does seem like it is missing essentials to get that price under the 1K mark. The display is lacking, its CPU is underpowered, and HP still can't design a decent keyboard. All in all, though, I'd rather have a jack of all trades than a specialist for my first computer, so I'm satisfied. BEST FEATURES: The single best feature of this device is the fact that it does it all. Its massive display is large enough to allow me to have many windows open at once and have them all very usable. If I want to have documents open for reading, it's very nice to be able to turn the keyboard down and use it like a massive iPad. It has two USB C and USB A ports, and an HDMI, so it can attach to anything. I often use it to charge my phone, and it has fast charging to make that easy. Also, the design of this device is very premium. It feels very solid, and the matte finish and minimalist design give it an almost MacBook-level of sleekness. There is very little flex anywhere. In summary, for the under 1000$ price, the sheer usefulness and level of refinement make this a very good buy. Unless you need a machine that specializes, you probably will not regret this purchase. TRADEOFFS: If I could sum up my complaints with this computer, it would basically be: the jack of all trades is the master of none. In return for a machine that does everything pretty well, you lose out on several fronts. Firstly, the processor (CPU) is very mediocre. It takes a while to load demanding applications, such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Zotero, even in the most aggressive power modes, and crashes if you have too many windows open. If you plan on using this for demanding apps, don't. Secondly, the 2K LCD does not look sharp. With a screen this size, it would seem that you need at least 3K before things stop looking fuzzy. Also, be warned that this machine's limited color gamut means that colors look slightly dull. Thirdly, the keyboard is made of soft matte plastic, which feels cheap. Also, my model specifically has a bouncy keys issue, which means that it often doubles the cc tt nn keys randomly.

Bought in January 2026 and it's been great for [work / everyday use]. The 2K touchscreen is sharp and the flip design is handy for [watching videos / presentations]. Fast and reliable so far. [Battery easily gets me through the day.]

This is a great purchase decision if looking for a laptop with a touchscreen and larger screen. After much research and comparisons, for my needs, I find completely easy to set up, light-weight, Screen size & clarity are amazing. Highly recommend.

Works super smoothly a little bit lightweight but no issue at all. Has good amount of storage and good processing

It’s fast, the screen looks amazing, and the 2‑in‑1 flexibility is super convenient for school and everyday use. Battery life has been better than expected, and the build feels premium. Keyboard takes a minute to get used to, but overall I’m really happy with it.

My HP OmniBook is everything advertised the screen I thought might be a little small but I was surprised how much i enjoy it. The display screen is crystal clear an vivid. The computer is very fast. I use the computer at home every day! I have not found anything I dislike about the computer! I highly recommend this computer!
